"Barry University allowed me to become a competitive applicant to medical school. The workload is tough, but very doable and gives you confidence that if you do well in the program, you can do well in professional school. It is also easy to form relationships with your professors which is critical in not only having a support system in the school, but for your letters of recommendation. Although I wish the campus was larger and had a library (because we are in Hollywood and not Miami Shores), other study areas are not far from the campus. Overall I would highly recommend Barry because of the success rate at which the program gets its students into professional school."

"Barry University Masters in biomedical science is an excellent choice for those preparing to go into medical professional schools. The biomedical masters program is located in hollywood. It is a small campus with caring professors and administrators. The Univeristy seeks to educate its students and emphasizes academics and extracurricular activities. The Masters program is rigorous, and teaches students lessons in time management and apropriate studying techniques. I have gained a variety useful skills that I will take with me into the physician assistant Masters program."

It was the most necessary stepping stone for any student hoping to get into graduate school. During this program I "learned how to learn" on a graduate level, learned how to manage my time wisely, and most importantly learned how to be a team player. "I had a wonderful experience attending Barry University. Barry did require a couple of adjustments at first , since I and many other of my classmates went from a huge undergraduate universities to a small program, but the personal attention you are able to receive with small classes sizes outweighs everything. While attending this program, I learned many key lessons that led to my success and learned to use all the available resources at Barry such as the health care oriented professors and other extremely helpful staff members, TAs , and group studying habits. The flexible semester schedule options after the first semester and the frequent medical/dental school visits are great additions. I can confidently say that Barry will be large component of my future educational and career goals since this degree has changed the type of person and student I am today!"

"There are many masters and bridge programs that are geared towards preparing students for medical or dental school, but I believe that I made the right decision to attend Barry's BMS program. Every aspect of the program is designed for you to succeed, from the curriculum to the supportive faculty. I attended one of the largest Universities in the country and I easily became just a number throughout my undergrad. When I started the BMS program, I was surprised to see the small class sizes and how the professors actually cared about developing a relationship with their students.
