2021 Best Colleges in Hawaii by Salary Score™
This list ranks the best colleges in Hawaii based on our Salary Score. This score compares alumni outcomes to determine whether alumni from one school tend to have higher salaries than alumni with the same major at other schools. We calculate our Salary Score by comparing median alumni earnings in the first year after graduation in each major at a college to data for graduates with that same major across all colleges. We then combined program scores to get an overall score. The three highest-ranked colleges in Hawaii are all located in Honolulu on the island of Oahu: Chaminade University of Honolulu, Hawai’i Pacific University, and the University of Hawaii at Manoa.
To be considered for our state rankings, schools must offer and provide data for at least 8 bachelor's programs. This list includes all eligible schools in Hawaii. You can click on a school's name to view individual program scores. Read our methodology to learn more about how schools were ranked.
