"The office staff and the director of the school were very unprofessional. The school took almost 7 weeks to place me on my externship site which was very frustrating. The teachers (who are no longer there) were amazing and so kind. They were the true motivators!"

"I personally loved going to this school and would recommend a friend to go there. The teachers were great, and very helpful, I learned what I needed, Considered taking more classes. If I decide to get another certificate I will be going back to Abdill Career College."

"Abdill is a good school. It is a great option if you want to get an education in a short amount of time. The work load seemed heavy at times but it was worth it in the end. They have a knowledgeable staff and it was beneficial to furthering my career."

"I had an okay experience i do think its over priced and there could be more current lab equipment. Teachers were awesome. But the people who own it seem like they don't care about the students. They don't realize we had a life and family's before we came to this school."

"The teachers are amazing but the staff is unprofessional. I did get a job but they are constantly losing my externship hours paperwork and making it a hassle for me to get my tuition check. i would not recommend this school to anyone. I think this school is a joke."

"Abdill is a good school. It is a good option if you want to get an education in a short amount of time. There are times when it seems like the work load is a little too heavy for the time frame, but it's worth it in the end. They have a knowledgable staff and I would probably recommend this shook to a friend."

"There's a lot of hoops to jump through and often the expectations are not communicated at all or well enough. A lot of the teachers are amazing, but the courses are lacking. You don't learn a lot of what you need to know, and a lot of what you do learn you don't need to know. The rules are obscene. There's no other way to put it, expect many more rules than the actual job. They do make it easy to get started with school fast, get loans etc... that part is the only thing well-communicated. Externship is the best part, but it may take a while to get one, which again isn't made clear before enrolling. It is an easy, fast way to get certified if you're willing to play their games."

"This school saved my life. It was just what I needed to start over again. It gave me back my confidence. I went through 2 programs here, and am now, I'm having job interviews that look to be very promising. I would recommend this school to anyone who is looking to start over, and get a degree quickly/"

"Wish I could give this school half a star. Very unprofessional. The only good thing I can say is I learned what I needed to pass my state boards. BUT, the school is owned by a woman whose daughter runs the financial aid (I think? No one has actually ever seen her do anything), and whose granddaughter is supposed to run the externship program but doesn't do her job. In the time I've been here, two out of the three office personnel have quit so that they don't have to pick up the granddaughter's slack or deal with her, and one teacher has left because he didn't like how the students were treated. There is one "teacher" (who only got her job because she is good friends with the owner's daughter) who very openly plays favorites with her students and is very very unprofessional. I have written their accrediting agency cataloguing my experience as well as a few other student's experiences, and I really really hope they get shut down."

"Abdill is a great school. I would recommend it to anyone who is interested in an 8 month program in order to obtain a certificate. The teachers really are interested in YOUR progress, future, and success. My favorite part of the whole program would be being placed into my externship. You get a full feel of what your career will be like, and in some cases you can get hired on to the business you are working with."

"I attended Abdill Career College when the company I worked for after ten years closed their doors. I chose this college because it was a quick way to start a new career. I would recommend Abdill Career College to someone who needs to make a change in their life in a short amount of time. It was very challenging and fast paced. I enjoyed the instructors and the office staff. I learned a lot and I cannot wait to use what I have learned in the real world."

"Currently I do not recommend this school. They are unorganized and there is a lack of resources for the x-ray program. I felt more of in the way and a lack of communication between the staff on what needs to be done. First school to have made me cry and I have been to a few others."

"I received adequate instruction from this school, material was relatively easy and i was able to complete the program and become prepared for my new career path in a very fast amount of time! I would have liked the instruction to be a little more in depth rather than teaching solely out of the textbook but i did achieve my goals. it is also expensive but student loans are easily available yet will leave you in debt. also with so many females there is too much drama but i reccomend it to ppl with thick skin who just wanna get in and out and can ignore the drama!"

"I attended Abdill Career College in the medical assistant program. I did receive adequate instruction in order to be successful in the Medical field however it was mainly because I worked very hard to succeed. The material was taught strait out of the textbook and when asking clarification questions it became clear that the instructors did not fully understand what they were teaching. Most of the instructors are former abdill graduates and have never actually worked as medical assistants. There is also a significant problem with conflict of interest at this school. the three main administrators are related and the rest are close friends, therefore if you have any problems with one of them it will effect your overall progress. I was not pleased with the professionalism or lack there of. I do, however, feel like I have a good understanding of the medical assisting career path. I would only reccomend this school to someone who is looking for a quick and relatively easy way to gain a new career. do not attend if you think for yourself, tend to stand up for what is right, and would prefer to be treated like a human being. It is also outrageously expensive however they make it easy to attend with student loans but you will be in debt when you leave. good luck!"
