"awesome school to have attended and i enjoyed my time there have been so many great moments from joining this school. Most of this is has been one of the best years of my life as well as my kids life. They have seen that at any age your life you can always go to college and accomplish anything. I am quite grateful that didn't give in or even give up this worth every penny."

"AIU has been an excellent school for me. I wasn't sure at first of the online education platform, but really found that it worked for me and I have been very successful. I am set to graduate in early December and have managed to obtain a 4.0 GPA and was invited to join Delta Mu Delta, a business honor society that recognizes and encourages academic excellence. The school has provided me skills that I have already seen put to use in my profession and continues to challenge me throughout each course. AIU has given me the feeling of success that I lacked in going to college in person years ago, and I will forever be grateful for the opportunity my company provided me to attend at a discounted rate. I recommend this school for anyone that is looking to obtain their degree while working full time or even a stay at home mom. I work 40 to 60 hours a week and manage to maintain a work-school-life balance, if I can do it anyone can do it!"

"Words cannot begin to explain how grateful I am to have been blessed with the opportunity to attend AIU. Shortly after graduating high school in 2018, I received a phone call from an AIU admissions advisor asking me if I would be interested in joining the University. At first, I was extremely hesitant because I wasn't 100% sure if I was ready to pursue college. However, after being thoroughly informed about my options and everything that I should expect upon joining the school I was instantly convinced that this was the route that I wanted to take. The enrollment process was made easy with the assistance of AIU's friendly staff members (my admissions advisor and financial aid advisor) and before I knew it, I had begun my journey of pursuing my associates degree in Business Administration. Attending American InterContinental University online not only allowed me the flexibility to balance school while still continuing to work full time and manage other important responsibilities, but this has also helped me to become more disciplined and devoted towards achieving the academic goals that I had set out for myself. Successfully graduating from AIU as an Associate of Arts in Business Administration wouldn't have been possible without the genuine help and guidance that I received from the community staff members and professors every step of the way. They all have set me up for success and remained there to support me during times when I needed it the most, but my freshman year academic advisor was my main source of inspiration who truly motivated me to always strive for greatness and be the best I can be. She reminded me frequently that I have what it takes to succeed in everything that I do, going above and beyond to make sure that I was always on the right path to success in college. If ever I felt like I was pursing my academic journey alone, she was always there to remind me that this was never the case and that she would always be there anytime I needed encouragement or "Sunshine" on a stormy day. It was because of her that I decided to continue attending AIU to pursue my bachelor's in business administration. After receiving my associates degree, I was immediately re-enrolled to continue school right from where I left off. Unfortunately, I was unable to keep the same academic advisor although I still had the ability to contact her if I ever needed to. My new academic advisor was great as well and she provided me with the same level of guidance that I needed to be successful in pursuing my bachelor's degree. Any questions that I've ever had regarding school were always answered in a timely manner which made pursuing my bachelor's degree a lot smoother. A few more things that I admired about attending this college is the convenience of its online AIU mobile app, the Get Set community for students, and the simplicity of using the online portal altogether. Thank you again to all who were involved in making this experience possible! #AIUAlumni #AIUProud"

"I attended AIU Online from 2018-2021. I have seen many of the complaints about AIU, but also heard it was a good college for military people as I was active duty at the time of enrollment. AIU has had no more notable scandals than really most colleges. When people say go to a real college, but complain about how financial aid and student advising is handled at their “real college” I am thankful to say I never had these problems with AIU. If you are respectful and cooperative , as I always am with staff, they assist you with no problems. I acknowledge people have had problems in the past, and I respect those problems and won’t invalidate anyone’s experiences. I will just say my experience with AIU was a breeze, AIU IS an accredited institution and your degree IS worth something. My mother, also a veteran, attended AIU before me and received her master’s degree and has been working WITH her degree and getting jobs WITH her degree for upwards of 15 years. AIU is not a fraudulent college, they have had controversy yes. And truthfully I believe college should be free, and any college charging you money to learn is scamming you, but this is America where we have to settle for capitalism, and I see nothing different with AIU’s practices than any other university, and these scandals did not affect the quality of my education. I am not writing this to defend AIU. I have no interest in defending any institution that charges people to learn, I am simply giving my honest feedback. This was a great school to attend. The staff was very polite and all of my instructors were considerate of my personal issues with VERY respectable windows for late assignments and if you did an assignment wrong, you often get the option to redo it. Learning with AIU is structured and if you do your work on time, actually do the reading assignments, and soak in the information you’re being given instead of just trying to pass the class you will benefit from the flexibility of doing AIU Online and having free time to work, or whatever else you need to do with your day. In conclusion, I would recommend AIU to anyone seeking higher education. I will also say AIU has frequently been called out for certain things, but they also always fix whatever issues they have internally and right their wrongs much quicker than most universities with any type of scandal, and that’s all that matters. I hope this honest review helps anybody who has worries, or questions. Thank you."

"The best part about AIU is the staff, there was times it was getting difficult for me due to also working a full-time job. The staff encourage me to continue and do not give up. They would constantly check up on me by calling and sending me messages of encouragement. Thank you AIU staff!"

"Just an overall amazing experience. The advisors were all transparent and supportive during the whole process! I really enjoyed the online flexibility - I work full time so it was so important to have that. Overall, I would definitely recommend and had nothing but good experiences here!"

"When I started AIU I knew I was determined to finish, and to never give up. Knowing you will have your falls The instructors and Advisors are always here for you at your worst and always would try to think positive about yourself and able to do it, for the past 4 years are completely worth it. The way inspiring others to pursued there lives and having a career out of it. That goal finally achieved since i been a AIU student, the financial department helped me be able to keep up on the income part and living under the low income statics this school is able to provide the best to earning your degree. Always fallow your dreams!"

"I'll start with the best things I can say about the program I am in. It has the potential to be an incredible program. The material is there as well as a great library and a great support and tutoring system. The instructors could be a little less robotic in how they grade. There are some good instructors that do enhance learning, but they are few and far between. There should be an entrance exam, especially for reading\writing\grammar. I've come across some dubious classmates that look to have sub high school grammar and writing skills. Group projects are the worse. I've had 3 in different classes. I hold a 4.0 and I don't play around with my grade, therefore I did all the heavy lifting in those courses that had group projects. On 2 of the three I did all the work myself. On the third one, I had only very small contributions. In those situations, I have heard consistently "I'm confused by the assignment". I usually take a leadership role and try to explain and get everyone involved or motivated, but you can only lead a horse to water as they say. The material is challenging and is conducive to learning. Anyone that says otherwise is lying to themselves. I've been able to go back to material I've learned many times, even within my field and with coworkers. It's a quality education. If you can read and apply a rubric to the work you have to do, you'll be fine. I don't think that they will institute and barrier to entry, as that would cost their for-profit model to take a hit. They also do a lot of concentration on Sales. It becomes annoying at times. Will employers look at this school beneficially? Who knows. It really depends on your level of responsibility for the job you are applying for. It's a good school, that isn't cheap, but is set up for success. I'd fully recommend it for people in my shoes. For me this was a goal and a formality. I have my career built on my Military background. I've gotten great jobs with just my years of experience. I will be pursuing my MBA with AIU as well. They now own Trident University, so if money and time permits, I'll be pursuing my Doctorate after that with Trident. I'd love to come back and work with AIU to formalize their program for profit, but also for recognition of what is offered and to increase it's value proposition."

"This school is horrible! Avoid it at all costs. They harass you endlessly if you don't do things on their timeline. I'm the one paying for it, I don't work for you! as long as i stay within the guidelines set forth before enrollment, I shouldn't be harassed. The second part is their Intellipath system is the worst "Educational Tool" to ever exist. The teachers don't even have access, to correct errors in the lessons (there are multiple errors)"

"When you hear degree mill, you think of this school. It is a little costly but does not require hardly any work to pass the classes. Most classes involve modules which can be clicked through and no academic rigor is not needed to get As. It is offers 5 week classes and great deal of flexibility which is ideal for working parents. However, passing classes for this school is incredibly easy and doesnt encourage in-depth learning. It does touch on the basics of the subject. A degree from this school should not carry a lot of weight in my opinion. I have attended 3 other colleges to compare it to."

"For the past 3 years that I have been with American Intercontinental University, I have found their online learning environment to be very supportive with dedicated staff from admissions, student advising, accounts, financial aid, technical support, library, lectures who demonstrate high degree of respect and ethics as they ensure that students have excellent learning experience. Courses offer theoretical and practical real-life experience in the contemporary business/ market world. Students suggestions/inputs are taken regularly and feedback provided promptly and implementation done for improvement. I highly recommend this institution to those who have the desire to start or further their learning. There is a lot of work to be done by students and one must be ready to be disciplined in meeting the deadlines and/or seek help where required. As the University fraternity do their part, let the students take advantage get what the Serious University offers."

"First I transferred into AIU, I attended this university from 2005 until 2007 and I graduated. I did a volunteer internship at my local county courthouse and I work in law enforcement at the same time. Excellent professors and I learned a lot. However, I tell most people you have to be self motivated, dedicated to studying alone and being very engaged in the online discussion just beyond getting a grade. I'm currently working in the federal government as a Manager and I have about 3 years with my agency. It's all about what you put into yoru studies and what you get out of the classes that you take. However, I recommend taking class at a brick and mortar school first before going online."

"American InterContinental Online was a great online program. The curriculum was great and the classes were pertinent to my career. Online access was very easy and quick response to questions. It greatly prepared me for my career and afforded me an opportunity to move up in my previous position."

"As a current student I have to say that to be accredited a school goes through the proper channels. I have been to other online programs. If they are out of state the tuition is utterly ridiculous. I decided on this school after having a great experience with another online degree program from another school. I did some research and began my program here last year. I had to opt. out and after looking at a few other schools decided to return and complete my Bachelors in Business with a Project Management Specialty here. I'm a little past the half way mark in my degree program. My Experience so far has been a good one. I had to decelerate my classes from 2 every 5 weeks to 1 because my schedule is so demanding but my instructors are encouraging. I have not heard much from this advisor not too pleased with her but the one I had prior to exiting the school was wonderful. Overall its a good school. I like the intellipath and the tools they give. You will do as well as you apply yourself to this program. I am doing this because I already have the career I want I'm in it but in order to move upwardly into management this degree will help me get there. Keep focused and if you're in it then you're in it. No one can discount your education unless you allow it."

"I was very disappointed in AIU's organization as a whole. When enrolled I still constantly received emails from the admissions department asking to enroll and contact an advisor (even after emailing back letting them know I was currently enrolled.) When I had problems arise the only person that I felt cared or bothered listening was my advisor. I was subjected to a zero on an assignment due to a group member not submitting the assignment like they claimed. This one zero lowered my grade a full letter, I submitted for grade review and I was blamed for not staying up until midnight to make sure the assignment was submitted by my fellow group member who stated they would. Overall I think the organization has a structure issue starting from the top. If you are someone who really cares about getting good grades, I would consider looking at another university."

"I made the decision to attend American InterContinental University Online, as I have been out of school for a while at the time, and needed a better job opportunity. Even though all the classes were taken online, my schedule became more flexible, the advisors and instructors were attentive to my needs and goals, and my motivation to complete college increased. This institution is a wonderful opportunity for potential students who are currently preoccupied with their jobs and or families. There is also career advising available and the option to attend a virtual or ground graduation."
