"I WAS CONFUSED EXACTLY WHAT I WANTED TO DO. STARTED FOR ONE REASON AND COMPLETED FOR A TOTAL DIFFERENT REASON. From the first phone call till graduation and after every part of the way someone is there to help you succeed. The professors work with you to help you learn, it seems every staff member personally helping you to succeed. After being out of school for many years, AIU made going back to school an amazing experience."

"Thank you so much AIU. You have changed my life and made me into the person I want to be. I love helping others and joining this criminal justice program has helped me find my voice and taught me about myself. I want to be a role model for others and AIU has helped me do that. I am truly grateful for this school and when the time comes, I would love to come back for my Masters degree."

"This school is accredited, so if you had doubts about that, it is okay. The faculty and staff are nice and help you with your academic path. Beware of the course material. You can easily graduate with honors and a 4.0, but you will NOT be prepared for your career in the slightest. The most cited source for corse material is YouTube. I don't think that is very professional or educational. You can't attend and graduate from this institution but you will be severely sent back by the lack of quality in these courses. My personal advice is to attend this college as a start to transfer in to a higher university."

"Course curriculum was weak and out of date, I gave them recommendations to improve based upon my subject-matter to no avail. Admin department was non-responsive or just didn't care. Some professors were good and others...well not so good. Academically, I am not as sharp on paper and in a school environment, however, I managed to graduate with an "A" and Magna Cum Laude. Because the curriculum is not challenging enough, the weight of the degree will not sustain you in the real market of career job searches and acceptance. These guys are sneaky, more worse than a used car salesman. It's a business first and your tuition is their justification for existence. Overall I would NOT recommend this school. Choose wisely!!!"

"When first started finacial aid and student advisors and admission helped so much, due to the fact It had been so long since I have been in school. The classes were challenging but informative. I thought I would not be able to do well, with encouragement and all the help it was easy."

"I am the first in my Family to obtain a degree . I am proud of my accomplishments I love my school. And i recommend AIU to all student in the World who want a good Education. I first attended AIU starting in 2019 and along the way my biggest fan my darling wife of 55 years passed away on my and did not live to see this day arrived. She cheered me on for these past two years and at the end she passed. But this struggle and this journey is not in vain it is all for my wife Rita. I can now look back and say honey we've made it. This is a journey I know I did not take alone she was there with me just as AIU was. I a student is looking for a good solid higher education learning center please select AIU. You can't go wrong with AIU. God Bless America and may Godf bless AIU and all the come in contact with AIU. This is the best day of my life. Thank you AIU."

"First of all I was so excited when I started, all A's and interesting Discussion Boards, then comes Professors, M. Jones, W. Bower, W. Albert, J. Pumphrey, they blew all my hopes and dreams away. No compassion, No assistance, you send emails after emails, response maybe at the end of the class. I failed all of their classes and had to retake, which means 'More Loan money" I actually think that this college is not for students who want to move forward, but to get as much money as Pell, FAFSA will give them. It's a shame that these professors don't seem to care about students. I had a lot of medical issues and still am able to keep up with the support of E. Sherouse, J. Richardson, E. Azzard, T. Pyles and J.Grimes and S. Parrish (truly Love her), All these Professors showed compassion, empathy and supported me while still maintaining the guidelines of the University. I will pursue my career for a Master's degree, but I will NOT pursue it at American Intercontinental University. I will go where there is compassion for students and not professors who are itchy with the pen and don't mind failing a student who is trying their best or who they can see need help and send information without the "F" looking them in their face. I should have been on the graduation list for March, now I have to wait until May. SMH"

"Worst school (online)I've ever attended they do not work with their students if you have a family emergency or family death might as well say goodbye they will NOT work with you at all they will tell you to apply fit an appeal but after talking to several other students that attended they always deny the appeal letter. Oh and once they deny you that is permanent there is no getting back in don't waste your time on this school I've also heard from former students that they have not been able to find jobs."

"I have been off and on with this University due to travel constraints for work and that of starting a family. I was able to stop classes and restart up a couple years later when things calmed down with little to no hassle. The Staff across the board has been terrific and helpful in all things even when i decided to change my major. They provided a detailed process and made it very painless. Overall the classes can be very fast passed but the level of information you receive is very well organized and presented compared to other Universities. All of the accreditation are good and i am satisfied with what i am paying for."

"I only took a few courses online at this school...after talking to many students that have graduated from this school. Majority of them couldn't find a job after graduating and the interviewers said they've never heard about this school. So I decided to drop out, couple years later, looked at my student loans and it said I owed $16k!!! Tried making payments but I was only paying enough for the interest...by this rate I'll be paying for this for the rest of my life!!"

"Horrible explanation of the student loans. They give you way more than what you need. Also, I was guided to this degree which is useless to me. It didn't help me towards law. They don't help you find a job. The ones they offer are at poverty level. Crazy."

"It was hard and I felt like giving up, however, I found myself with some of the most intriguing professors and classmates. You have to apply yourself, you must demand more of you, which makes the commencement ever more satisfying. I would recommend AIU to anyone, especially working parents. While I would have loved to had the time to go into classes my life and responsibilities demand that time so AIU online was perfect for my degree."

"AIU was solid from the second I spoke with my counselor until the day I graduated. I never had any problems reaching anyone there each and every department was helpful and answered all my questions. Technical Support I love those guys, I developed a unique relationship with them for sure I would call them at 3 or 4 am no problem they were helpful and every time saved the day. From calling my instructors when I was late with an assignment cause of a computer glitch or whatever the case may be they were there for me. The student Advisors are all awesome and never gave up on me when I felt like quitting they said some kind words and I continued with my program,. I have to admit I am not the easiest person to work with and I hadmy share of melt downs. The support at AIU was all that. The teachers let me tell you have the best of the best credentials Every one of my teachers through out my four years was a Phd. in their chosen field of expertise, with the exception of maybe one or two teachers. But let me tell you that was rare. The teachers are awesome and very patient. They are lienient in their expectations of their students. Meaning they go easy on you. I would 100% recommend this school to anybody who is thinking of going here. I had an amazing experience for my four years and in fact I am enrolled in the Master's program currently and enjoying it as well. I have gotten numerous job opportunities and still entertaining more as we speak. The school has a job placement department as well to help students find a good paying job. You are goning to need it cause the cost is well lets just say you cant get a good job without the education that you get from AIU or any other school. The prices at AIU are competitive with other schools. And there are programs when you finish to help pay the outstanding balances. Oh and one more thing. The hours are awesome I study at my own pace and I am able to work around my existing schedule which is a bonus cause I'm a single parent and work with not many hours left over for school. So this school worked for me. Thanks for reading my story."

"After receiving 2 degrees from AIU, I believe I speak from an informed perspective. I hold an A.A. in Business Administration, and just completed my B.S. in Criminal Justice, Homeland Security and Crisis Management on June 2nd. I completed both programs with a 4.0 and I can tell you I worked intensively and diligently to obtain my Summa Cum Laude standing. This school provides all the tools one needs to obtain a college education, and the professors and staff are highly supportive. The flexibility of the online format allows many to return to college that would otherwise be unable to do so. The intensity of the programs however may not be for everyone as the programs are not easy. In order to be successful in AIU, you must be willing to devote many hours per week to researching, studying, and preparing assignments. Basically, you are immersed in the course topics to effectively develop assignments, but this ensures the material is truly absorbed and learned. Research skills are critical and if you don't have them, or you are not willing to develop them, and put time into the program, you will not be successful. But, if you apply yourself and remain disciplined throughout the course studies, the education one receives from AIU is excellent. I would and DO recommend this program to anyone willing to commit to their own education!"
