"It's EASY to point fingers when you fail.I did the 9 months for Medical Assitant training,My instructor truly care she invited us to come in on saturdays for workshops, they helped me with my resume , my cover letter(RAUL)and help me find PT work while i attended,i got the skills & knowledge i needed to pass the NATIONAL certification exam(tested at the Jersey city location) now i work in the medical field as a RMA and im in nursing school . If you cross your arms for 9 months and expect others to do what YOU need to do .DON'T point fingers when reality hits you.. the problem is NOT the school the problem is YOU!! i know because i was i class with people like you.THIS TRAINING WILL HELP IF YOU ARE WILLING TO RECIEVE IT !!!"

"I couldn't stop laughing when I saw what the last review said. You absolutely can sit and take your CMA test when you graduate from Anthem in Cherry Hill, I just took it!! And in reference to credits being transferred, I work for Cooper Health Systems making $15/hr and they are already paying for me to go to whatever nursing school I want. So don't listen to some of these negative people, it could easily have been a person in my class who just didn't make the most out of it. If you put time and effort in here, it will pay off. I could not be happier with my results after graduation!!"

"This school is a lie. Program is only 4 weeks per one class then you move on to another one. They make you think that you will be able to sit for the CMA exam which is not true because they aren't accredited by CAAHEP or ABHES which is what you need to be allowed to take it. They also never found me an externship site, but it doesn't matter since 6 weeks of experience didn't get anyone that went there with me a job. What they dont tell you either is that the average salary for being an MA is $9-11/hr which is what I made at a job I already had. They also don't tell you that MA jobs are near impossible to get nowadays since there are so many school churning them out. Couple that with Private doctor offices closing left and right and you will never be able to get a job doing this! There credits don't transfer so I have to start from scratch if I want to be a nurse. All in all a waste of $12,000!!!"

"I went to anthem..it wasnt that bad of a school in the beginning we had a great teacher, but some of the material was basically spoon fed to you, then corp changed everything around and some of the students didnt really like that..I know some of the students were told different things, but my cousler never told me anything that wasnt a suprise..right now im at my intership and I love it. You have to work hard for what you want. But i can say now the new teacher that the students have isnt very promising, he doesnt follow the notes the manger gives him and he always goes off topic."

"Response to Barbie: 1) When it comes to credits one of the first things in the paperwork you sign says credits will most likely not transfer. That is up to the college you are going to. Not the school you went to. 2) Everything IS included in the tuition if you read your paperwork. Cherry Hill actually offer the MA cert at it's campus and was very helpful with everything I needed to obtain it. MY admissions person was very helpful and honest about this process. 3) The Cherry Hill campus not only set me up on my first interview but several after and still keeps in touch to see if I need any other assistance. And to anyone else who is complaining on here and says that this is a scam, I would not be where I am today if it were not for this school. I know a lot of people that feel the same way. So to any future students looking at this to help them with their decision, do not let a handful of unhappy students change your mind if you are serious about your education."

"I graduated from the Computer Networking program in Cherry Hill and I am already a manager for HR Block. They allowed me to hire a few people under me, and i recruited them from Anthem as well. If it weren't for this course I would still be sitting home on unemployment, but now i make $40K+ a year. I really can't speak to north brunswick but the cherry hill campus is awesome. If you put the time and effort in here you can definitely be successful. So anyone looking at anthem do not base your decision off 2 disgruntled people. I know PLENTY of happy graduates who appreciate what the Anthem Institute has done for them."

"A total scam! Total Scam !I was told that the school was accredited and I could transfer my credits to any college. That was the 1st lie. I was also told that they place you on your first interview for a job. That was 2nd lie. I was told that everything was included in the tuition. Thats was the 3rd lie. Now that was three strikes with me. Credits are not transferable, there is no job placement, and certifications have to be paid for by your self after you locate the sites to take the test on your own.....I got great grades mostly A's but really didn't benefit from it. All in all if your going to school medical assisting, please just consisder taking it at the Community College cause they offer it, and less expensive."

"PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE, TAKE MY WORD FOR THIS AND DO NOT GO TO THE ANTHEM INSTITUTE IN NORTH BRUNSWICK!this "school" was the worst decsision i have ever made in my life. Every single teacher in that so called school has no idea how to run a class.every class we sit for 3-4 hours doing absolutly nothing!!!!!! I would drive over and hour every single morning to leaern about my feild of study to instead sit on the internet and look at pointless stuff.i wasted a whole year of my life at anthem, i thought about dropping out numerous times but couldnt see wasting money.PLEASE PLEASE LISTEN, ANTHEM IS A SCAM! ALL THERE ADMISSIONS PPL WORK ON A QUOTA AND WILL GET ANYONE INTO THE SCHOOL. THEY PLAY T OFF GOOD!!this school should be shut out of commision and never be aloud to ruin students life. Anthem is the biggest regret i have in life, i hope every teacher there understands that there LOSERS!!!! AND HAVE NO KNOWLEDGE ON HOW TO TEACH A STUDENT."

"Anthem institute is by far the worst school i have ever attented in my life. EVERYTHING about that school is a joke!!! The teachers have no knowledge of the course there teaching, and they flat out dont teach you anything!!!DO NOT GO TO ANTHEM, I REPEAT DO NOT GO!!! I made the mistake of going and it was the worst mistake of my entire life. There architectute / autocad program is a lame excuse for a course, i didnt learn anything. My advice go to a vocational school and you will learn 100x more knowledge you can use in life.I REPEAT PLEASE DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY.ANTHEM IS GARBAGE!!! AND I WASTED A YEAR OF MY LIFE AND $20,000 DOLLARS THERE."

""I don't know why these other two people seem so disgruntled. They might have been students who were not good with attendance or who did not work as hard as they could throughout the course and after to find work."Heard of a Director's Award? It's what you get for Academic Excellence and Perfect Attendance for every month of the course. I've got one, how bout you? The school is just bad no matter how hard you work. I was also hired at my externship site and have been working here 2.5 years. The job is worth it but I could have gotten the same job with a high school diploma if I had known about it."

"I attended Chubb Institute at the Springfield campus for Medical Coding and Billing.Shortly after I started classes the only other teacher besides the program manager took off on vacation and sick time for 3 weeks straight and then quit her job. That left the program manager teaching 3-4 classes a day every day BY HERSELF. Several months in they REHIRED the other teacher. I found out from taking classes with her that she had no real understanding of medical terminology or physiology. In the span of my 9 month course they proceeded to hire two more "teachers" who also couldn't teach their way out of a paper bag! If it weren't for the program manager I would not have been able to pass a certification exam or get hired at the "top externship site".Long story short the one who quit and then got rehired was promoted to program manager when the former program manager was promoted to head of grad placement. I feel so sorry for anyone taking that course now. My boyfriend now attends Anthem Institute at the Springfield campus. They can't get text books or teachers for $20000 a year. JUST SAD!Their program manager won't even teach when he is forced to watch over a class because the teacher is sick, on vacation, or just plain up and quit.TOTAL SCAM! Do NOT believe the admissions reps they are ON A QUOTA!"

""Education is what you make of it"... "easy way out"..."not good with attendance"..."not working hard"..STOP WITH THE ASSUMPTIONS!I went to The Chubb Institute everyday that was required; in fact, I received an attendance award several times. I received an "A" in every class I attended. I worked full time and still went to school three nights a week.I'm pointing my finger at the staff at The Chubb Institute because during my two years of "instruction" one teacher was fired, one quit, one watched movies instead of helping us, and one told us to "play with" Photoshop because "that's the best way to learn".I'm glad you were fortunate enough to get a decent education; I was not. I wrote this and my previous review as a warning to future students. I hoping that the staff at The Chubb Institute (Anthem Institute) see this and make some improvements to their graphic design and animation department."

"I have to start this of by letting everyone know that I was an A student and was on the Honor roll 3 months in a row (the last 3 months of school). I believed everything that Anthem Institute told me that they have great instructors and great career services (They would help you look for a "job") I went to Anthem to get my Billing and Coding Diploma little that I know joining there would be my biggest regrets. They told me (career services) that they would provide me a good place to do my extern/intern or I can choose a place of my own. So I decided to get my own site but they told me that I couldn't because I needed to tell them a month ahead. Next then you know I am sent to a crappy site in the city with computers from the 80's and ants all over my desk. My first week there I get a phone call from the site that I chose to go in the first place that all the information form the school is done and that I start there next month (How is that possible when I'm already in the crappy site where they send me) basically they used my contact that I FOUND for their own needs. On top of that I had to miss my graduation because the hour they gave my graduation was during my extern/intern so I never made it. But once I finished my extern/intern i go back to school to see if they give me my diploma and I had to wait over a month til they decided to give it to me (can't do much without your diploma) and on top of that I'm still unemployeed for 3 long months and I owe the school 7 thousands.I suggest go to a community college and get it for free and your associate degree will be worth more then an institute diploma. GOOD LUCK and I hope this helps all who are thinking joining in Anthem Institute in NEW YORK."

"I understand that some graduates may have had a bad experience at Anthem Institute but I am not one of those people. I graduated from the Computer Networking program at the school and I am not currently employed in my field doing very well. They gave me the necessary tools to start a new career in something that is relevant in today’s society. People can complain about what they didn't get out of the school or what the school didn't do for them but I ask you people this...what did you do for yourselves? Anthem and other vocational schools prepare you for a career in your desired field and give you the necessary tools to begin a NEW job in a NEW industry. People think that just because they went to school from a year that they're going to be making $60,000 right off the bat. Lets be realistic here shall we everyone must realize that beginning a new career you must start at an entry level position, prove yourself and work your way up. Nothing is easy especially in this economy so don't go around pointing fingers at others when you should be pointing the finger at yourself. Complaining never got anyone anywhere. So I leave you with this, education is what you make out of it, some of you will be looking for the easy way out and others will be willing to work and those of you willing to put in the time and effort are the ones who are going to succeed in life...don't forget that."

"I had a Great experience,I did my training in the Jersey city campus in the evenings while i worked a dead end job.The lady in admission told me exactly what i was getting (for the most part)we are now in a middle of a recession and i work full time and i work for myself on the weekend (independent side money) thanks to what I learned at Chubb Institute now Anthem Institute .I think that if you apply yourself you get what you pay for if you do not you will waste your money. I know of a few people who had good experiences and i know people who are not working.my student loan is $68.59 per month.witch i can afford no problem"

"I'm taking the Graphic Design & Animations course at the Parsippany campus. About 8 or 10 months ago I thought about "dropping out", but didn't because I'm not a quitter. Big mistake!! I'm almost at the end of this course and sometimes wish that I DID quit. From almost the very beginning of school there have been A LOT of problems. Student ID's need to be re-set, the school gets new computers that aren't any better than the first ones. You still have your class pets, and you can't even ask the instructor a question because they will embarass you in front of everyone. They do treat you like you're a child, and they do seem to think that the school is just like social hour. One of them had the cops at the school a bunch of times for dumb things that he did while teaching. Even if you complain to someone higher up nothing gets done. It's hard to tell if anyone there knows what they're doing. I don't know anything about the other campuses, but don't go to the Parsippany one. I don't even know what I learned if anything. I think that it's a big waste of money and there are better schools out there. I wish that I went to one of them instead."

"Anthem is not a good school at all .. iam still in anthem and 30 students complain and they havent solve anything. No teachers in the school, we only have 1 teacher for graphic design and we dont learn anything he dosent know what is he is talkin about he only reads from the book . when we complain they always have the same answer and it's "We are tying to build the school as before" and i told the manager of the school "what about if i failed" he said we wont let you fail.. i asked again i am saying IF and he answers back "you will not fail" so what that means is that they dont really care about the stduents they just want to get the money from you.I waste my time writing this because i feel bad for myself and i dont want someone else to be in the same situation. I am at anthem institution in north brunswick ."
