"Attending Arapahoe community college was one of the major factors to my success. Going to a more affordable school for prerequisites and initial degree is the smartest thing I could have ever done. There is no point in spending a fortune on a State University because of the name. I have not had any job turn me down because of where I went to school. I recommend going to ACC, their nursing program was great. One of the major things I liked was the high amount of clinical hours. The more hands on experience the more I learned. First starting the program I was intimidated by the number of clinical hours, I thought how I am going to work throughout school. Now looking back I am glad I had the opportunity to do so many hours and the time management skills have helped me through the rest of my career. Although every program will have its downsides this program was exceptional, I will say sometimes the organization of the program was questionable, but overall it was good. I have had the opportunity to precept students now and I absolutely love when I get ACC students. They are always sharp and put together. The instructors are experienced and have been with Arapahoe community college many years which adds to the success of the program. The ability to ask questions and truly understand the disease process is encouraged. I am proud to tell patients and future nursing students that I attended Arapahoe community college."

"I really have enjoyed my time with this college. The advisors are very helpful. Most of the credits offered are guaranteed transfer to any college in Colorado so it's a great option to get general out of the way or if you don't know what you want to major in yet. No real complaints with the school as I've never attended another college to compare it to but I'd say I've had a very smooth ride with this one."
