"Boston College's FT MBA was an amazing experience. The analytics-focused curriculum enabled me to thrive in both a finance internship as well as my current consumer research career. The college helps place nearly every student in an internship. The teaching and staff are excellent. Global respect for the program is high. Could not recommend more."

"Boston College is an excellent college with a diversity of thought and a (decently) diverse student body. However, I wouldn't recommend it to every student. There is certainly a "type" of student: white, affluent, from a private high school, interested in business, and slightly conservative. The size of the student body makes it very possible to find people outside of this type, as I did in my time at the school. It can be a trouble though, and requires effort and looking into clubs and student associations. Still, I'm very glad I went. The pros: A gorgeous campus Large amount of resources for students Large but not forbiddingly large student body allows for diversity of students The cons: There is a "type" of student and some cliqueness Catholic school may not be for everyone BIG focus on business, if that's not your interest, you may feel left out"

"Boston College exposed me to a wide range of academic pursuits with its core program in an ideal location. BC is located between Boston and Chestnut Hill, giving the best of both worlds. The professors include some world-class researchers and teachers, and the facilities are fantastic."

"Good school with great access to Boston. Networking after graduation has been easy with access to graduates in the nursing program as well as outside the program. With a known undergrad school I have been able to take jobs across the country and now have been accepted into law school."

"Boston College provided me with, I believe, the necessary tools to succeed in the medical field by exposing me to rigorous coursework, respected professors and lastly an intelligent, inquisitive student body. Although it was a challenging experience, I believe it molded me into a hard-working, empathetic individual with a purpose. Boston College is keen on service, whether it be local or international, as it is a Jesuit institution whose motto is, "being a man/woman for others". Although it has religious affiliation, the school does an excellent job welcoming all faiths and beliefs, which often led to meaningful dialog and debate. At times however, the student body and faculty seemed to lack diversity which I believe can be easily improved upon. If you are interested in expanding your horizons, enjoying your studies and meeting your best friends for life, Boston College is the place for you."

"Boston College is a place where I was able to achieve my goals of going to dental school. BC has prepared me well not only with their challenging yet well-instructed science courses, but also with BC's pre-dental/medical program. As I signed up as a freshmen in the pre-health track, I was advised by the pre health office and many professors regarding courses I should take, and extra curricular, volunteer opportunities which may be helpful. Most of all, the pre-health community has been of immense help. The community has set up different phases (phase 1,2,3) which prepare students with personal statements, recommendation letters, resumes etc. according to timely phases . As a pre-dental student, BC has supported me well regarding my future career plans, and moreover, the required core courses (which include, theology, philosophy, social sciences, arts, etc.) has also built me into a well rounded person. BC will cherish one's individuality and allow students to thrive in their fields as much as they endeavor."

"When I arrived a Boston College my goal was to study and further my academic skills. There have been a number of detours since that beginning. The school community opened up opportunities to develop relationships I did not think possible. My friends range from English majors, Computer majors, Psychology majors to Education majors. They come from across the street, across the country, and from across the world. My major has changed and expanded as a result of several interesting classes and two internships in Boston. My college provides not only top notch instruction but also a diverse student body and a myriad of cultural events and adventures within the city."

"BC is a great liberal arts school. I was there for music; it is by no means a competitive music program. It is not even a music school, it is a music department. (That said, I loved the small department and all the faculty are wonderful.) If you are going into undergrad already knowing you want to pursue a performance degree, you need to choose a conservatory or another school with a rigorous audition. Part of the reason I chose it was because I didn't want a rigorous audition, but I did want to be able to take courses in other disciplines and feel that my studies were more well-rounded. That's not for everyone, some people know what they want to specialize in. One of BC's strengths is that it is Jesuit, and values service to others. They work this into the courses as well as the campus atmosphere/student life. Also, they require certain core courses, which again for some people will be a negative (if you just want to stick within your major), but for some will be appealing if you want to be able to sample different departments and feel that you have a broad foundation."

"BC Law is a great school. Your hard work will pay off. The professors are fantastic and really care about their students. The professors have an open door policy which is always helpful. Finally, the school's alumni network is bar none. Faculty will even put you in contact with alumni."

"Boston College is one of the best universities in the country and it has a huge network that students can tap into. Boston College and its alumni takes care of its own. This school does lack in diversity, which as a person of color tended to take a toll on me, but I am still glad that I went to this institution. The Lynch School of Education is also one of the best schools of education in the country. I particularly enjoyed my program because I got to design my program."

"Boston College's biochemistry program is definitely heavy on the chemistry, but you certainly get a good taste of biology as well. The professors in the Chemistry department are extremely successful and well-known in the field, and there are a lot of opportunities for research both on campus and in the city of Boston. With a Biochemistry degree from BC, I feel prepared to start a career in pharmaceuticals, biomedical research, medicine, or any other related field. What I loved about BC in general was the fact that I was getting first-rate academics but also could be fully engaged in other campus activities. The majority of the student body gets involved in at least one or two things outside of class, and there are clubs and organizations for nearly any discipline you could imagine. The school is big enough that everyone can find something just right for them, but also small enough to get that community feel walking across campus. BC is a Jesuit school and thus encourages students to "Go out and set the world aflame" - find something you're good at and something you're passionate about, and use your time at BC to develop these skills and passions into a future that both makes you happy and makes a difference in the world. BC challenged me academically and personally, and I truly feel that when I graduated, I had become both a competent scientist and as well as a well-rounded, self-aware individual ready to consider my place in the world and how I can truly leave an impact."

"Boston College was a good school; however, there were times I felt that because I was only a Masters student, I was overlooked in favor of the PhD students. Also, there were multiple instances were the school accepted people into a program with a focus that it was unable to provide appropriate classes for."

"Boston College was an absolutely wonderful experience. The professors are some of the top in their respective fields and they demand a lot from their students. The community is very spirited, and exciting to be a part of the school spirit whether it be with a sports or intramural team, or academic club, or volunteer organization. The liberal arts education is unparalleled, and helped prepare me to be a well-rounded human being."
