"Fast paced nursing program is just what I needed to help obtain my BSN. The night/weekend program is convenient for full time employees and individuals with children. I will be continuing to attend to get my MSN with Chamberlain. I enjoy all the opportunities that is offered, you can be as involved as your schedule allows. Highly recommend for someone who is unsure about which school to attend. Additionally, the amount of resources that is provided is helpful for individuals to find out the best way studying works for them. "Chamberlain allowed me to pursue my dream and opened so many doors for myself and family. I was able to balance family life with my schooling and that meant everything to me as I have 4 little girls under 10. I was able to graduate SUMMA and now have an amazing job as a CVICU nurse. "The first 2 years were okay. Customer service was adequate. Classes were okay. Instructors were mostly responsive within 48hrs. Once being accepted into the MSN program, everything changed. Customer service was ZERO. No kidding. The computer generated patient assessment did not prepare many of the students for the real world. We all had a hard time. And no one would call back from the program. Literally, an assistant called me stating that she had been hired, trained for an hour, and was told to tell all the callers that no one from the program was returning phone calls or able to answer questions. Really?? You mean, after receiving $60,000, you no longer want to provide customer service anymore? I was also told that unless I was a minority I wasn't going to get any calls back or any assistance in the MSN program. So, myself and 2 other friends transferred from Chamberlain to in-state universities. Please understand, if you are not a minority, do not waste your time or hard earned money here.Read Less"

"I’ve had my ADN for 4 years and decided to get my BSN during the pandemic since I had more time at home. I was very anxious and worried that I was getting into a big mistake based on the reviews, but I loved it! All my ADN credits transferred. I got my BSN in 10 months taking 2 classes at a time each 8 weeks, except the first 8 weeks to test it out. In the end the program cost me about 15k but I got 3500 plus book reimbursement from my work place as well as a good amount back on my tax return. I worked 25-36 hours per week, and it was very manageable. I highly recommend!Read Less"

"Chamberlain University has been an amazing experience. The on-campus professors at the Jacksonville, Florida campus are compassionate, nurturing, and willing to help you become the nurse you want to be. The workshops before and after class, the open lab, the peer tutors, the mentors, and the online workshops make paying the price of Chamberlain University worth it. Any issues I have had at Chamberlain University were quickly resolved. The average reply time of a professor is normally less than 24 hours when the policy gives them extra time to reply. I look forward to every on-campus class at Chamberlain University. The feeling of support I have received is unheard of at a school. "Chamberlain University is a great start for obtaining your nursing degree! Yes it’s fast paced, but it also put that fire under you! I always thought I wasn’t smart enough for acceleration, proved myself wrong. Tons of resources that are offered outside is didactic and clinical to study the material and perform well in the course on tests and exams. Also excellent staff! Very nice environment"

"I am currently attending Chamberlain through the BSNONLINE program and I am expected to graduate next march. I have had a wonderful experience through this program! I attended a previous university in Iowa prior to going to Chamberlain. I am without a doubt so grateful to have come across chamberlain. Chamberlain understands that we have personal and family lives too. The professors go above and beyond to make sure us students understand the material and know what’s going on. "I’m not one to write reviews, but Chamberlain university has me so upset I would not recommend the school to anyone. The classes were great and I enjoyed the curriculum it was the staff such as the financial dept/advisor that was the problem. So many gaps, lack of communication and conflicting stories. The 30 minutes to an hour wait time make it difficult to actually speak to someone. They do not look out for your best interest at all. I will definitely be looking for another school to finish my bachelors.Read Less"

"This school has its teachers primarily teaching off of their slides. It isn't a secret. It is over priced to go here. and their Pass rate after graduation doesn't show how many people actually drop out of the university. Highly due to poor instruction and course work which leads a student to failure. They use a fairly faulty program called edapt for homework. Imagine learning a rhino's skin is grey, withstands water, and is tough. Now on the review question on edapt it asks you, what affects does the sun have on the rhinos skin that causes cancer. Its not in the edapt or your book, yea your SOL. SO GO SOMEWHERE ELSE UNTIL THEY FIX THEIR PROGRAMRead Less"

"This school is an ABSOLUTE JOKE. The guidance counselors are non-existent, while the Dean is completely useless. The call times are over 1 hour. Any email responses from faculty are well over 1 week. Anyone reading this review should highly consider spending your GI bill elsewhere."

"I am currently enrolled in Chamberlain's Nursing program and I am very pleased with the professors and staff at the Atlanta campus. The only issue I have is with the financial services. Whenever I try to contact them via phone, I am on hold for hours and it seems as if no one is on the other line. The university is expensive and I would like to discuss my finances over the phone instead of email. Whenever I email financial services, I get a response, but they are never able to fully answer my question. I am very frustrated with their financial department and would recommend they adopt a better system. Other than that, I am pleased with the program and would recommend it to others.Read Less"

"I wish I would’ve done my research before deciding to go here because I definitely would’ve attended a different nursing school. The campus I attend is very unorganized and majority of the time they don’t answer the phone when you call to speak to student services. Not only that, but they stole my financial aid refund during my first semester here. To put the icing on the cake they are a for profit school and they look for any way to cipher money out of people. They consistently increase tuition costs and try to mask it as “helping with inflation”, which makes no sense. They also increased the student service charge from $180 to $200. We’re basically getting charged for being a student and also having access to student services which is a waste because they never pick up the phone. Lastly, when asked about financial aid I was told I would not be able to use my financial aid or student loans for this semester because I’m only taking one class that’s worth 2 credits. I took one class in the July session, which was fundamentals, and was only worth 3 credits and my class was paid in full with my aid and loans so somewhere along the lines somebody is lying. I feel this is a way for them to get money out of me. I’m very close to withdrawing from this school. If you’re interested in becoming a nurse I would look around at other options because chamberlain is a joke.Read Less"

"I attended the Houston campus. Prospect student beware: this school is very retaliatory. My issue started when i had defended my self. A professor called, accused me of submitting my assignments late. I was vindicated when the dean and ATI got involved. Fast forward to same session funds check off this teacher volunteered to check me. She did not follow the rubric provided by the school. I failed the class because of her action during my evaluation. I fought back and was vindicated of being targeted by the Professor. A year on after this incidence, i realized, mot only was i targeted by a single teacher, my name was always the gossip around the teacher’s office. New and kind teachers abstained form these practice. I realized this who did not support retaliatory actions were either let go or reassigned. Attending this school was traumatic, i even demanded transfer out of the Houston campus multiple times but stayed on because of the friends i had in the campus. Some of the actions shown to me was retaliatory. For instance, a student had copied 100% my work (including my name. ) and submitted as their work, with only thing changing being —absolutely nothing!! When grades were out i was told i had lost 90 percent of the points needed more research—if you are wondering.. i submitted the work for the individual on my laptops, as the individual was away on vacation, so i needed their log in. We were lucky to have not been docked for plagiarism. But you get it. Same work, different grades. Two class to graduate they failed me for a binder, a check off and some core points which national had no control over. They bypassed the rubric because this was their only of retaliation. I am bowing out with my head held high as i fought twice. It was traumatizing but i made it. Please, run away!!! Especially if you’re a student with American disability Act allotment. They hate to give student’s preference. I did it even if it took wars to make it!!’ But don’t be like me. I would not wish this school upon my worst enemy.Read Less"

"I have recommended Chamberlain University to several people. I find the culture to be very supportive and encouraging. The individual's success is the goal of every staff member. In this program, one is set up to succeed. The resources are emmense. If you have trouble there are plenty of avenues to seek assistance."

"Do not go to this school the grading scale is ridiculous they required more assessments than teaching you and you will spend almost $3k every 2 months although you have financial aid or loans. And it's limited access to class approximately 34 students in one class fighting for a seat. some professors don't even know what they are doing they are careless just want their paycheck.So many things to say specialty advisers that you can not even meet and are always in a rush to talk to you on the phone. "I’m proud to be a student at Chamberlain university. I’m a visual and auditory learner. I like to seat in class, listen to a professor. 2021 I decided to go back to school. I had two schools in mind, then finally I decided to attend Chamberlain. I was nervous because this is the first time am taking online classes. The professors are nice with great experience. Encourage you to ask questions when you need help. They will guide you through your assignment. I already took seven classes with GPA of more than 3.5. I have three classes to graduate. "I would like to express my success in achieving my goals. I am 65 years old, and a retired I.C.U. nurse. I did decide to go back to school two months after the Covid Pandemic was in full swing. I doubt myself. But, the school advisor, the I.T departments, and positive feedback from the professor help push me to succeed. I look forward to the classroom discussions and the professor's feedback. The I.T. help me significantly with navigating my computer technology, which I was lacking to comprehend. This support helps me to comprehend the latest technology. Thank you Chamberlain University, for the guidance you gave me to succeed. "This school should be a last effort attempt to get into the nursing field. DO NOT GO HERE!!! The communication is completely broken. They are constantly demanding students to meet rigorous deadlines that they themselves do not follow. The quality of teaching fluctuates from competent caring instructors to instructors that are terribly rude and inattentive. You will go through classes that are loaded with busy work that never gets graded. I am about to graduate and I have had 3 clinicals and only one where I actually learned something. The sanctimonious attitude of the management staff is disappointing and their practices are inefficient and at an exuberant price. You can get a better education without going 50 grand in debt.Read Less"
