"I am warning all of you considering coming to the New Jersey campus run for the hills or at least go with your other choice. The New Jersey campus is poorly run by money hungry savages. Once you are in you are truly on your own they will purposely watch you fail just so you can pay for the course again. Transfer students from other Chamberlain campuses are extremely shocked with the lack of consistency. Take it from a student who can't wait to graduate."

"NJ campus. Student services experience is horrible. They are always busy, no one returns your emails or calls. Incorrect information is given out constantly. The lack of quality customer service is rather frustrating. Chamberlain does an excellent job in recruiting you but once you get in there you are on your own. You either sink or swim. Think twice before you consider this school. Overly priced as well, this is a for profit school."

"I started at Chamberlain in January 2014 and was extremely impressed with the quality of the education and online modules for some classes. The traditional BSN program (not RN-BSN) is an accelerated format which suits my learning style. However, it is not for everyone. You need to be proactive and diligent on your work, as it's easy to fall behind. The students who do the best in the program are those who are highly motivated and who have taken most prerequisites at a community college prior to starting at CCN. It is an expensive option but I didn't want to wait on a list for a year or more at another school to get into their nursing program. The professors are attentive and caring and truly look out for your best interest & will try to help you find your niche in nursing. You have to put the time into it though and be extremely organized. This is a fast paced program for adult learners who don't need hand holding to work through the course material. I highly recommend this program and am considering the FNP program for myself in the fall.Read Less"

"I have been a student at CCN for last 10 years. I graduated with my BSN, MSN- Ed, MSN- FNP, and DNP from Chamberlain College of Nursing. I have been in traditional schools in between, but it did not work out well. I enjoyed being a student at CCN. it works well with my busy schedule by being a full time mom, student and full time job. I am very proud that I went to CCN. the faculty was excellent. The curriculum is slightly tough but it will mold you to be an excellent scholar. I have recommended many colleagues to this college and all enjoyed to be a student at CCN.Read Less"

"Excellent program; supportive instructors. Problem based approach. Evidenced-based practice. Encourages and motivates student learning. The program is doable for those who work full-time. The reading material is easy to comprehend, the weekly lectures summarize the assigned readings. The database library is student friendly with up-dated peer-reviewed articles."

"Very unorganized and misleading regarding the time it takes to complete. Inconsistent teaching styles made it difficult to follow expectations from class to class. No assistance with confirming clinical and I had to continuously contact them to find out the status of contracts. Had 3 different switches of practicum coordinators which caused even more delays. So many delays I had to sit out a turn because the contract for my 2nd clinical rotation was completed but not the 1 for the 1st one. Would choose differently if I had it to do over.Read Less"

"I successfully graduated from Chamberlain with my undergraduate BSN without any problems. The professors, and staff are amazing. I have gotten support from the beginning of the program until the end. Pros: online classes are convenient and easy to follow. Cons: price. I am currently in their online MSN program because I love the flow, and curriculum that Chamberlain offers. It fits my busy lifestyle, and learning preference."

I graduated in Dec. 2016 w my masters in FNP and the school has been very helpful with all of the information needed to provide to both AANP and BON. I have continued on with this school for my DNP because I appreciate how helpful they have been and how organized the online setting is."

"SAVE YOUR MONEY! This school is so unorganized. The instructors who teach online never even email you back. They are out only out for your money and care little about quality. This was not a good choice and if I had to do it over I would run for my life."

"I enjoyed the flexibility of online classes the Professors and my fellow classmates were very respectful. I began this journey in October , 2014 and was very hesitant after being out of the classroom for 30 years. My experience her at Chamberlain College of Nursing has been great I plan on continuing with my MSN."

"This school is fast paced with classes every 8 weeks. Recommended to take pre requisite courses at a JC it will save you thousands of dollars. ($33,000) it saved me! The teachers are awesome although they expect you to know your material & there is no lecture. It is a very self motivated and autonomous school in which you determine your success. I am highly pleased with my choice of school mainly because the classes I had already completed allowed me to take less classes every 8 weeks. The most I will have is 1 or 2 classes or clinicals for each 8 weeks. I am satisfied with the school all in all and would highly recommend it for those of you who do not want to wait for a year or longer to get into a BSN program. The only downfall is the general ed classes are ran by DeVry and many students seem to not be pleased with the instructors of that portion.Read Less"

"I recommend this school to anyone who is sure they don't need a classroom experience. You will be sitting at your computer processing and learning subject matter on your own. This can get lonely and frustrating when you are unsure of yourself initially. You can call and send your instructor emails regarding your needs however. You must be able to write ( how many sentences in a paragraph, APA, how to outline your thoughts and structure your sentences and paragraph). The school has so much on- line help/resources it's ridiculous). I went on YouTube a lot and typed in paragraphs, APA, basic typing formats etc.just to bring me up to speed with my deficits. The professors I've had were very supportive and treat you like an adult learner. I love this school!!! They get it!!!Read Less"

"If I had it to do over again, I would have picked a different college. As a single mom who works 2 jobs, time and money are both tight, so it would be nice to know the truth about how many classes are accepted from previous college.They lead you to believe your previous college credits for math will be accepted and then , after completing several nursing courses, tell you you have to take a placement test( one advisor said they did accept my credits and then when I went to sign up for stats, I wad told that was not the case) and add more courses to your curriculum- just to make more money in my opinion. Had I known that, I would have gone to a college that accepted my algebra credits and had not misled me both during the application process and after I wad enrolled.Read Less"

"I have been very pleased with the RN-BSN online program through Chamberlain. The customer service is excellent and the instructors are respectful. I appreciate being able to focus on obtaining my degree without having to jump through hoops like I would have to at a traditional university. I will be graduating with my BSN in February 2017 and will be continuing on into their online FNP program. I am very excited about being able to pursue my professional career goals while maintaining my work/life balance. I love the flexibility of being able to work on school on my own time.Read Less"

"Very unorganized and the staff was not very helpful when it came to setting up practicums. Over all most of the teachers were pretty responsive. It certainly is not worth the money and if I could do it over again I would choose a different school. Save yourself the headache."

"This program is solely out to make as much money, with very little explanation for what the fees are for. They don't send you a bill to let you know when you have a balance, and if it isn't paid in 30 days they send it into a payment plan which they charge you interest on all without telling you that any of that is happening. The class work is easy enough, but it is likely that you are just paying your way to a degree. I wish I could go back in time and go through another school. Biggest disappointment that I could have expected. They are very helpful when you are doing all of the application but once you are into a program all of the nice people and helpful people seem to disappear.Read Less"

"Excellent program! I completed the BSN , I was already an RN. I started into the Masters program because it was such a positive school. It was costly so I stopped at 9 MSN credits. I will complete when I pay. Ack my student loans. I recommend CCN over the traditional brick and mortar because you have no discrimination only grading on your submitted projects that have been completed. With medical so tech savvy, online is the way to complete this degree!"

"I've been relatively pleased with the program. It provides the flexibility I need in order to achieve this. It has all of the issues of any on line program. It's hard to feel connected to the school and the faculty, and you get out as much as you're willing to put in. There is very little to no personal instruction or feedback, but the material is there if you choose to put the time in. Finding a preceptor is really stressful, but this is the same for most programs now."

"I finished my BSN and I am now in the MSN FNP program. I have learned so much from this school. Why? Because they skip the nonsense and the fluff and allow me to focus on what is really important. As a working nurse I need concise clear cut work assignments. I appreciate the reminders by email about small things. They want you to succeed. It is not easy, they treat you like a competent nurse that has critical thinking skills. They do not bog you down with nonsense. Every assignment has what you must know to be a top notch professional. I love this school. I hope I make it through the MSN, it is fairly expensive. I tried a public University and they were so disorganized and unprofessional it was a disgrace. They did not care at all.Read Less"
