"College of Saint Benedict was a great all-woman's institution. I felt that the small-class sizes allowed for the instructors to get to know me well-academically and personally. The chemistry department is very intense , but prepares you extremely well for a PhD in Chemistry or if you want to go down a pre-health track"

"I have complicated emotions about my degree program and college decision. I had excellent relationships with some professors that helped me find my career path, encourage and develop my mind and critical thinking ability. I am still in contact with them and owe them a depth of gratitude. My advisor was not helpful, she would often forget our appointments, not email me back, and not sign the paperwork for me to even switch advisors. I suffered through four years of appealing to get into classes I shouldve just been accepted into it. I designed my own major and almost ended up with three minors. I had very little guidance through her and it was frustrating. There were also some decisions made by my college administration I did not agree with. My school was very expensive and even with scholarship I was left with debt I will be working against for decades. At The College of Saint Benedict we were forced to live on campus, a program decision we found out after we were accepted into the school. The busing system between the two campuses is not ideal. Parking is overpriced. I did enjoy the extra circulars and intramurals though; I was able to make friends and learn new skills. I wish I wouldve been able to network more, I was left with little opportunity to do so. I did not like that the schools career services only reviewed my resume and sent me on my way. After graduation I sent that resume out to over two hundred employers and received one interview."

"The College of Saint Benedict has been the best decision of my life thus far! I absolutely loved the school because of the safety I felt while on campus, the friends I made that will be life-long, and the professors because they truly care about you and spend extra time in their lives to make sure you succeed. It was a very fun place to be with very fun people and I loved it all."

"The College of Saint Benedict offers a wide array of majors, minors, and concentrations. My experience at St. Ben's was wonderful, the professors were always available to help outside of class and if not they were quick to e-mail back a response. I really enjoyed that the school capped the class sizes so that courses felt personal. The small class sizes made me feel like the professors made an effort to get to know me and that I was not just a number in their class. St. Ben's makes an effort to have diversity on campus between the students as well as events on campus to incorporate diversity into the atmosphere. I had the opportunity to have classes with students from so many different backgrounds which I feel is important with my future career choices. I felt that the courses provided a mental challenge that enabled me to learn."
