"First of all I would like to start by saying I am not sure why this school has so many negative reviews. I have a Bachelor's Degree from a very reputable Science and Engineering based University and the classes here are just as tough as what I have taken there. Like anything else you get out of it what you put into it. If you procrastinate and do not put in enough time to do the research required of the degree programs here at CTU then you will not do well. I have had wonderful Professors and each one has given me the tools necessary to apply in real world scenarios. The advising, financial aid, and student success departments have all been flawless to work with and I have had none of the issues that others are complaining about. I am a Stay at Home Mom and CTU has given me the opportunity to be able to remain at home with my kids while also accomplishing a Master's Degree which I never thought would be possible. I have two classes left here at CTU for my Master's Program and I am planning on applying to a Doctoral Program after I have completed the current one.Read Less"

"Don’t go to this school worst faculty and education is very low level. Go to a more respected school I promise you it’s worth it. Classes won’t transfer from a school or even transfer out to a didn’t school. It’s a complete waste of your time. Having a degree from this school will not help you in your career."

"I took all my classes online. Most of them were challenging and I'm grateful for that. Otherwise, I feel, you do not learn as much. Some classes had more interaction as groups vs. groups which is not my style but we all learned something working as a team and managing to cover the work that others were too lazy to do. Sometimes that meant for late nights depending on what coast your team/partners were on (Might I suggest working with people within your own time zone on big projects). All in all, it was a good experience and the majority of the professors I enjoyed listening to and learning from.Read Less"

"DO NOT ATTEND THIS SCHOOL! A TOTAL RIP-OFF. Staff and Admissions are incapable of answering simple questions. They want you to submit all required enrollment documentation on-time but will not even answer your account questions and or submit your paperwork properly without any notification to the students of the problem.... They let me ENTER an entire GRADUATE PROGRAM WITHOUT VERIFYING my UNDERGRADUATE DEGREE.... What respectable university does such a thing??? The admissions and registrar staff are clueless when it comes to communication and providing successful guidance throughout the enrollment process. I will not be enrolled with this university for a second term.Read Less"

"I recently graduated from CTU with a Masters in Project Management. There are no formal tests as you would know it. The courses are broken into 5 phases each with a mandatory discussion board and individual project. Most of the classes have a very large individual project or group project at the end. In regards to financial aid, CTU is a mother school. They will tell you exactly what forms need to be filled out and will then take care of the rest. I used my post 9/11 GI Bill to cover the cost. If you attend classes and actually do the work then you will graduate in 18 months. I did. Communication with the professors and online coaches are the keys to success with this school. It is very fast paced. The most amount of time break I had between classes was 6 days. You will literally be in school for 18 months straight with the Masters program. The school is regionally and nationall accredited so there is no worry of hinder in the industry acceptance of your diploma. I have read a lot of reviews on this school regarding the cost of the program. CTU is a pricey school as it should be because it is a for-profit university. The school primarily scouts practioner professors in the field of project management. This means that most of them teach part time not full time. Most of my professors were project managemers for large companies or owned their own consulting firm. If you look closely at some of the school books you will see that the professor teaching the class actually wrote the book. Additionally, CTU is a research university so be prepared to read a lot and I mean a lot of journal articles from their online library. If you are not a research wiz at the beginning of the curriculum you will be at the end. Also, you will become a true PowerPoint ranger when you finish this course. In fact the PowerPoint assignments you make in the project management field can be used to teach your own classes at the undergrad level if you choose to do so at a later date.Read Less"
