"As far as pros go, the faculty is unsurpassable in quality of teaching and support. These are the kind of teachers that invest everything they have into their students and truly are there every step of the way to see their students succeed in the very competitive musical world. They always offer advice and encouragement and remind you how to pick yourself back up after a devastating audition. The facility is beautiful, and we are one of only a few certified Steinway piano schools in South Carolina. There are certainly pros in the alumna that this program has produced over the years. Many are out in the professional world making a name for themselves, which would'n't be possible in the field without some intense training and true passion for their art. The all women's college aspect offers a driven view of women empowerment. There is a great opportunity to have masterclasses and see world famous performers with the guest artist series that the school funds. The funding also helps so many students afford to travel abroad to summer programs internationally, which is so important to network. The cons definitely come from the surrounding area. It is a quiet area and not fully developed into the cliche college town. However, downtown Greenville is full of promise and only a few minutes away. However, it helps to be limited to a plethora of activities because it allows me to focus on my art and not be distracted. Another con stems from a national issue of the lack of artistic appreciation. We don't receive the type of funding required for spectacular shows. The talent is there, but the funding is limited."

"The Marriage and Family Therapy Program at Converse is excellent. The instructors are caring and highly professional individuals who challenge students. Because of its affiliation with Westgate Counseling Center it offers opportunities to gain experience in the counseling field. I would definitely recommend this program."

"I am enrolled in Converse's low residency MFA program. Low residency has allowed me to continue my education and stay home to care for my mother, who needs me more now than ever before. Without low residency, I would not be able to get my MFA. Converse's program is well put together, full of opportunities and rich learning experiences. I have enjoyed the program and learned and continue to learn about my craft."

"I am in Converse's low-residency MFA program. Low-residency is the only way I can complete a graduate degree at this time because I am the full-time sole caregiver for my 89-year-old mother. This program is thorough, exciting, and well-rounded. I have enjoyed my experience with Converse College, and I look forward to my next semester."
