"I thought it was great for the field I was in - Accounting/Taxation. It has a good reputation with employers so it helped to get a degree from there to get in the door with some companies."

"It's good for the accounting field. It has name recognition that companies would know. It's relatively cheap for a college so you're not burden with too much student loans."

"The accountancy program I am currently enrolled in has both its pros and cons. Majority of them are pros. It has a strong career center that helps prepare students for upcoming interviews and networking events, and the all the professors are the best in their fields. The only con is the large student to teacher ratio in the classrooms."

"What set Baruch College apart from other universities are its pragmatic teaching methods, commendable faculties, and access to an invaluable network of brilliant students. However, the only con is the tuition of the program."

"Although its my first semester their and the commute from Long Island to NYC every day is ... not pleasant, the classrooms seem up to date and make use of brand new comps/projectors. Teachers seem knowledgeable. The only downside is not knowing anyone and with no "campus" per se its seems hard to meet people."

"Baruch College's MS Program in Accountancy is regarded as one of the best in the Northeast in terms of educational quality. I attended Baruch as an undergraduate so I'm well aware of the quality of education. Despite this, it is relatively affordable, particularly the one-year MS program. Not every university offers one-year master's programs, which is why Baruch is such an attractive choice. An added benefit is the diversity, one of the most diverse campuses in the world, including over 16,000 students from 160 countries. It is also easily accessible via public transit."
