"IMMENSELY uncaring university. While there is good staff that will care for you. They‘re rare and you are just as likely to meet someone equally awful. The overall way that student life is handled is Poor. If you have the misfortune of dorming here, then expect to be treated with bad living conditions. If a scenario arises where the university is at fault and must compensate you. They will take their SWEET TIME to. The University will enroll you within a subscription service called “all access pass” to obtain books for classes, but is way too costly and even if you OPT OUT of said pass, you will still be charged. The university in terms of education only had a SINGULAR professor teaching my major. Leading to poor scheduling and excess stress for me and that professor In question. Security is UNDERPAID. Daemen enforces unrealistic work expectations for essentially the same pay as a student with federal work study.Borderline NO parking because a genius decided to remove 60% of parking for a green space that is majorly unused. When it comes to your own residential space. Expect a random maintenance worker to enter your room/apartment while sleeping or for them to let themselves into your space when THEY so choose. Daemen absolutely loves to operate on the system that when you paid your first tuition installment, where they put you to live is now free to be walked into whenever.I urge any incoming undergraduates to be incredibly cautious of this institution. It will dress itself up nicely for you with low - costing tuition, but will make leaps and bounds in order to get you to pay as much more as possible."

"I truly enjoyed my undergraduate program at Daemen college. I felt I was given the best possible resources, and faculty always made their best effort to explain how a course fit in to what I was working toward for my career. There were many opportunities to meet with faculty, and work with previous students to work toward success. I always felt the faculty were rooting for my success."

"I am very happy with the education I received at Deamen. My professors were always very helpful and it was nice to be known by name, even by professors I only had for one class. After graduating I was very lucky to be hired in an English-related field. This was in part because I had gone to Daemen."

"Pros: The program has a 100% boards passing rate, therefore properly prepares students. The teachers are remarkable, the facilities are very helpful, and the program places students in very helpful internships. Cons: The graduate program is expensive, and can sometimes be overlooked by the school as a whole."

"The program is fairly competitive and the first year is a very heavy work load, but the faculty is fantastic and always willing to help students get the most of their education."

"Pros- Daemen College is a very small college where professors are always available, classes are small, and education is of the best quality. Daemen College has a 99% pass rate on the National Physical Therapy board exam. Cons- Small school with not as many opportunities for extracurricular activities or clubs that are available at larger colleges and universities. There is also not a lot of affordable on-campus housing."

"I have looked for a very long time for an NP program that will fit my neeed. Daemen is a very good college and it is accredited. I live 2 hours away and I travel once a week to classes. So some of the ratings I could not comment on. I signed up for a hybrid class that was to be a hybrid half online & half classroom, and it has turned out to be primarily classroom, this was disappointing to me. The class itself is taught by an experienced FNP, which is great. She is able to connect content with application of the info she is teaching. The class work is challengeing and does require one to study and learn the info, which is good, if I am going to be diagnosising and treating illnesses than it is important I know the info. I do not just want the piece of paper that I have an NP, I want to be able to use it. I attend the class at night so I am able to still work full-time days, which is a huge component to me being able to return toschool for my Masters."

"I have only attended Daemen College for the graduate Physical Therapy program, but have found it very competitive and highly successful. The small classroom size combined with faculty support is something you cannot receive at other institutions."

"Physician Assistant program: Pros: -everyone is willing to help one another -faculty is supportive & willing to help -academic coaches offered to help with difficult material -iPads for anatomy dissections & body apps Cons: -little cultural diversity -majority of local students -combined BS/MS students are less mature than MS students"
