"Post-graduate support is fairly lacking and often provides out-of-date information. Job placement seems to be heavily inflated, as most people from my cohort have yet to find entry level positions post graduations. Those that do either know people within the companies themselves or land short term contracts that often don't renew. Professional advice also seems out of date. Most companies are looking for certain skills or experience either not provided or not discussed by the school. Expect to do a lot of self-teaching after paying for a $100,000+ degree IF you graduate."

"I would describe DigiPen as hidden gem. Not many people know about the school but it's well known in gaming industry. To graduate this school is similar to nightmare. You are going to face challenge every assignment, project, home work, etc. But the staff is motivating and are there for you always. The college curriculum pushes you to achieve the impossible. I am highly satisfied that I got a chance to study at this college. Here are some pros and cons: Cons: No social life Small campus hence few facilities Costly compared to other state colleges Cafeteria food sucks sometimes. Pros: Amazing professional network. challenging curriculum. Knowledgeable faculty. Frequent company days and company visits."

"Pros- There are many talented instructors who have had a lot of experience in their area. You get instructors who have worked for Disney, Pixar, Blue Sky and Weta- all great people. Cons- Some instructors are great artists but not great instructors. Some of the material you have no choice but to learn in on your own merit."
