"I attended Dorsey Schools over 3 years ago. Sure, I excited about the PCT program and the school seemed very promising indeed. I have long since graduated, married, and still looking for a job in which I am now in debt for. Dorsey Schools, could not keep the same teachers for classes that were 2 parts. And a lot of my classes was spent watching shows like House and Grey's Anatomy! I did not go to school to watch these shows when I can sit at home and watch them. I was forced to take a school leave because they were not offering the last class I needed to graduate. But the school director at the time would not listen to me but he bent over backwards for someone else. What you learn at Dorsey Schools you more than likely will not use in a hospital. I asked all kinds of questions on my Extern to learn that I could not or would not be allowed to do what I was taught. And the study guides you can buy to take your certification test is not worth spending the money on they have absolutely nothing to do with the actual test. They say they will help find a job or career, but I have not had any kind of contact from them since 1 month after I graduated and I still have the same e-mail address and number. All in all, if your looking for a good school, your better off going somewhere because the cost will be so much less. It was 14,000 dollars better spent at a different school."

"My time at Dorsey was a complete waste. They will tell you anything to get you signed up. When I signed up for night classes the representative assured me that they had night time externships. THEY DO NOT. All i got was surprise! Your extern is during the day now figure it out yourself. Then they told me when I signed up that a PCT starts at $15 an hr. I have graduated and all the interviews they keep trying to send me on is for min wage. I could of gone to McDonalds for that! I paid 18,000 for tuition to be getting min wage. That's ridiculous! Then when you go on your externship the instructor tells you "well I don't know what they were teaching you all at Dorsey but this is the way you are really supposed to be doing it." Really? So we had to learn everything all over again. Then I have some associates that have attended the Wayne campus for the Dialysis tech program. Apparently Dorsey doesn't send them on a Dialysis Tech extern they send them on a PCT extern and now they can't get jobs because they didn't do a Dialysis Tech extern.;p>They try to lure you in with false promises and Ipods and laptops. They charge you an extra 1,000 on your tuition and the laptop is a piece of junk and I don't know anyone that has one that still works. They tell you if you refer someone they will give you an ipod and when you do they say okay we will get you the ipod. You come back a few days later and they tell you that they don't do that anymore. Do not waste your time going to Dorsey."

"I was in my late 30's and had no marketable skills when I decided to see what Dorsey had to offer. Dorsey changed my life! I would not be where I am today without Dorsey. My classes were all hands-on, and my teachers were fantastic! Mr. F was especially helpful. I had him for both accounting and business math. He made sure that everyone understood the subject. He was very patient and had a great sense of humor. The career service person was phenomenal! She gave me a job lead two weeks before I graduated, and I was hired one week after graduation! I had a wonderful experience. Thank you Dorsey!"

"I love everything about Dorsey Schools. I love that after one year of school you can get a good job. I love that Dorsey helps graduates find jobs. I love that the teachers are so helpful, and really want you to learn. I love that the only classes required are the ones needed to work - no wasting tuition money on history or art class!"

"If you are thinking about going to Dorsey DON'T!!!!!! There are no jobs out there - despite the hype on the television ads. They have no connections - at all. Finding a job is up to you. I wish I had never attended this poor excuse for a college. If you are at Dorsey - QUIT!!!!! Try to get your money back. Someone should start a class action against this group of yahoos!"

"THIS SCHOOL WILL SAY ANYTHING TO GET YOU IN THE DOOR. WHILE YES I DID LEARN SOME THINGS, THERE WERE PLENTY OF OCASSIONS WE DID NOT HAVE THINGS WE NEEDED, EVERY WEEK THERE WAS SOME SORT OF OURBURST BY STUDENTS AND NOTHING WAS DONE TIME AFTER TIME, IT WAS A SLAP ON THE WRIST AND SEE YOU TOMORROW. AND NOW IT IS DOWN TO THE VERY END AND WE ONLY HAVE A FEW WEEKS LEFT AND STILL THEY DO NOT HAVE OUR EXTERSHIPS ORGANIZED AT ALL. I JUST WISH I NEVER WOULD HAVE WASTED MY TIME AND WENT SOMEWHERE ELSE."
