"Small classes. Great for those who like building bonds with their professors and other students. There's great support from staff and faculty. Sometimes the classes are too small, so they end up getting canceled. The classrooms are a little dated, but the campus is in a beautiful location. There are dorms, if interested. Everything is in close walking distance."

"Dowling College is an amazing small school. Its strength is in it's highly distinguished professors that act like mentors towards the students. They encourage free and independent thought and they don't let you skimp on your work. If you put the hard work necessary into your courses, you will be rewarded by good grades. Not only this, but depending on how serious you take your classes and your major, your adviser will help you get your foot in the door in your respective field. This is a great school that focuses on the students success. However, their financial aide and administration departments need much improvement."

"Pros - Very accommedating for people working full time while pursuing a degree at night. The fact that many classes are also offered online is a plus. Most of the professors are professional and assesible. Cons - The tuition is getting more and more expensive each yearm and not by $50 or $60 per class either."
