"The only downside about Duke Graduate school is that the career center is the worst I have ever seen. This needs to be addressed by Duke ASAP."

"The Duke math graduate math program was a very good experience. There is definitely a strong sense of community in the department. The classes were interesting, and the teachers are competent. The department requires graduate students to teach ALL THE TIME in exchange for financial support. This is a huge drain on your time if you are trying to finish on time. On the other hand, the course supervisors were friendly and supportive. I have to say this is a first-rate university in a fourth-rate town (at best!). Be prepared for boredom when you aren't swamped with work."
