"So far, I have found my courses to be very informative and I have been able to apply the material to both my military and civilian jobs. Short term, I am hoping to utilize the degree to assist in the completion of a project assigned to me in my next overseas deployment. In my civilian career, I want to move into either a senior leadership role or people services, specializing in recruiting top talent for the world of construction."

"My time spent at Everglades University earning my bachelor’s degree was more than I had initially planned or thought of. From the admissions step, to financial aid, and throughout the program as a student, I had an empowering support system from the entire EU team . The staff puts a lot of effort and hard work into getting students the tools and resources they need to start their classes, plan their schedule, and strategically provide academic guidance unwaveringly. One of the best experiences for me was the care and attention the professors showed not only me but all students. They genuinely care about student progress in every class I’ve attended. In each class, it was a standard practice for professors to echo “If you need help, do not hesitate to contact me”. Honestly, the professors and staff at Everglades University have made all the difference in my success here. I will continue to speak very highly of this university not only as a proud Alumni but because of the supportive staff and professors who assisted throughout my academic tenure. Thank you, Everglades University staff and professors; you have truly made a difference for me!"

"I came here to get my degree in business administration so that I could own my own business, and I wanted to make sure I learn how to do it right. The location of the Tampa campus is perfect for me because it is close to where I live. I like that Everglades Tampa offers smaller class sizes. So far, my experience has been great. I love my speech professor and my class. I have had a great time presenting, and that is something I have not been comfortable with. I think it is because it is a small class. I am glad to be here at Everglades University Tampa."

"After working as a machine shop lead for 17 years in engineering, I shifted to the office manager position at my wife’s pediatric office because I was good with QuickBooks and accounting. I knew I needed more education to make our business successful, which is when I discovered Everglades University. This has been a great experience because of some very educated professors who paved the way for me to understand the fundamentals of business. Dr. Carrillo and Dr. Bellamy were wonderful lecturers who answered all of my inquiries throughout the undergraduate program. They always provided great real time examples and served as mentors to look up to. Throughout this program, all of my lecturers have assisted me in overcoming various barriers to running my firm on a daily basis, which has led to my success as a business owner."

"I completed my bachelors in Alternative Medicine, with EU, as well as my MPHA with a concentration in Alternative Medicine & Functional Nutrition. My experience with this university has been wonderful. Only having one class to focus on is amazing, because I never get bored or feel like the semester is dragging, causing me to lose motivation."

"I love being here at Everglades University-Tampa campus! Everyone here is so personable. I like the small classes because of the personalized attention. I was skeptical about going back to school because I am easily distracted when there are lots of people in class. Here I get one-on-one time with the professors. With my degree, I plan on owning my own business in holistic health. I am currently getting my MBA in Accounting for Managers, and I will come back and get a second concentration in project management."

"After exploring different Emergency Management programs, I chose Everglades University after learning that the class sizes are smaller than most and the course pace is set up to where I only have to take one class a month. I work full-time, so only having to concentrate on one course at a time is life changing and enables me to finish my degree. I have a passion for helping people in need as I’ve worked in Emergency Medical Services for the past seven years. I worked all throughout the Covid-19 crisis, and I learned so much about management and what it takes to work together with multiple agencies during a crisis of that magnitude. This caused me to really think about my future. I asked myself, ‘How could I make more of a difference in addition to what I am already doing?’ Choosing to pursue a BS in Crisis and Disaster Management will provide me with so many opportunities for me to help in a variety of ways. I’m six weeks into my time at Everglades, and everyone including the faculty, administration and students have been so welcoming. The Administrative staff members at Everglades are here to help you succeed. There’s nothing lacking when it comes to support, and seminars are held to learn to write a better paper or build a resume. In addition, community service events are held and they keep you up-to-date with a monthly calendar of events. I’m so happy I made this choice."

"When I first came to Everglades University, I was working full time and looking to obtain a bachelor’s degree. As someone in their late 20's I felt like it may have been too late for me, and I felt nervous and scared to have a meeting with the admissions department. Right away I had a meeting and a tour with admissions I felt a huge relief and was excited to start my academic journey. Professor Tammy Good was incredible. She was someone who was an absolute delight to have for classes. She always made class fun and made her lessons applicable to when I was out in the field. I can’t say enough about her. In my second year of Everglades university, I had started to slip up on my workload and was not managing my time well as my grades were showing. Dr. Burk pulled me aside and explained to me about the effort that I put into my schoolwork can have a direct effect on my performance in my career in the construction industry. I really respect Dr Burk and his knowledge in the field of construction. So, since that time I have given my best effort on all assignments and class participation. Since that moment have my grades had a major improvement but my performance at work is also better as well. I have been working for the same company for the last 5 years. I started out as a carpenter’s helper at my job before enrolling at Everglades University. I noticed a tremendous difference by going to classes at night after being in the field. I was able to apply what I was learning in school to everyday work giving me a significant advantage. In the beginning of this past summer, I was promoted to superintendent and started running my first job. Thank you, Everglades, for all your guidance!"

"By enrolling at Everglades University, I was able to fulfill a dream of learning about all Complementary and Alternative Medicine disciplines and how they contribute to disease prevention and treatment. Furthermore, I have applied my knowledge to benefit my family, myself, and the community. I also decided to major in Traditional Chinese Medicine. This was a great decision since it allows me to learn more about the subject while also benefiting society, while still benefitting patients with the holistic approach gained at Everglades. Never give up on your dreams or your efforts to make them a reality."

"Everglades University has been the right choice for me because it offers flexible schedules and a promising curriculum. I was looking for a program for Alternative Medicine, and Everglades University was the only school I could find that takes Alternative Medicine seriously in the United States – usually you have to look overseas for such an alternative medicine program. My experience with Everglades has been nothing but amazing from start to finish. The staff is warm and welcoming and very professional. Every department has done everything they can to foster a complete and thorough fluid experience. I can’t recommend Everglades University enough!"

"Completed 2 degrees with this university. Thank you Dr. Isma for commitment to our class and making sure we obtain the guidance needed to succeed. I've been at that university since 2021 and nothing but gratefulness to everyone. They are always there for you and calling you if you're not in class to see if you're okay. They're very kind to their students."

"I decided on Everglades as I wanted to learn how to live a healthier lifestyle. Specifically, I chose the Masters in Public Health Administration program because it allowed me the ability to receive dual Master’s degree in the areas of Complementary and Alternative Medicine and Functional Nutrition. About 21 years ago, I was a person that used to fear college – I can now confidently say that after finishing my degrees, I have overcome that fear. My professors, Dr. Torchia and Dr. Pittman served as inspirations for me during my degree program, especially when it proved challenging. As my educational journey comes to a close, I can confidently say that Everglades will always have a special place in my heart."

"This has been quite the run here at Everglade, as I went from getting my second Bachelors degree to completing my Master’s program in Public Health Administration. Being an older student, with an existing full time career, I could not have done it without the understanding and flexibility of the faculty and staff over these past few years. Big thanks to all of you, especially: Dean Stuard, Dr. Cuono, Dr. Haye, Dr. Cooks and Dr. McPherson….You all are such an asset to Everglades University!"

"I have really enjoyed my experience.at Everglades University. They made it possible for me to utilize credits I earned from my previous Universities (Florida A&M University, University of Nevada Las Vegas). Using the Credits that earned at my previous Universities, Everglades University matched a Field of study that I could earn a Degree in. My Instructor's were Very helpful and knowledgeable and were always available if you needed help."
