"I came to Everglades University Tampa to learn construction management because I know that construction is a field that will consistently challenge me. I have liked school so far.  It is very good because it adapts to my learning style. The Blackboard program is pretty straightforward. The staff has been amazing from day one. "Everglades University Tampa campus is veteran friendly, making things easy for us to use our benefits for education. In the small classes, I enjoy the one-on-one time with professors, who are good at communicating throughout the week. After completing my Masters in Sustainability and Masters in Coastal and Marine Management, I found out that my current employer will be starting up franchise opportunities, so I want to learn how to run my own company. The Masters in Entrepreneurship is different from the other programs I have completed, and it is nice to learn new content and gain knowledge. Read Less"

"I came to the Tampa campus because I have worked in surveying management for many years, and I wanted my degree to get my surveying license. I like the fact that this university was right here where I live. The enrollment process was very easy, and I was always able to get a meeting with advisors when I needed help. I like the one-class-per-month schedule, and I did all my work online while balancing work and family. The program went by so fast, and I am looking forward to graduating. "

The class schedule lines up perfectly with my very busy calendar as I balance a large family, work, and school. The staff always makes me feel welcome and at home. "The program is great and makes it convenient to take courses while working full-time. I enjoy the on-campus classes with my peers, and the content is easy to follow step by step each week. The professors are also very responsive when I have questions. I work in recreation at the MacDill Air Force Base RV Campground and Marina, and I love what I do—it doesn’t even feel like work. This program is helping me build my career in the field. "Graduating from Everglades University's Master's Degree program in Public Health with a Concentration in Alternative and Complementary Medicine in 2019, my overall experience was positive, though it falls short of being labeled as excellent. The program offered a well-rounded curriculum that effectively combined traditional public health concepts with alternative medicine approaches, providing a unique perspective on healthcare. The faculty demonstrated a genuine interest in the subject matter, and their availability for consultations was appreciated. However, there were occasional instances where certain courses felt less engaging, lacking the depth I anticipated. While some professors were exceptional, others could have brought more practical insights into the classroom.Read Less"

"I came here to get my degree in business administration so that I could own my own business, and I wanted to make sure I learn how to do it right. The location of the Tampa campus is perfect for me because it is close to where I live. I like that Everglades Tampa offers smaller class sizes. So far, my experience has been great. I love my speech professor and my class. I have had a great time presenting, and that is something I have not been comfortable with. I think it is because it is a small class. "After working as a machine shop lead for 17 years in engineering, I shifted to the office manager position at my wife’s pediatric office because I was good with QuickBooks and accounting. I knew I needed more education to make our business successful, which is when I discovered Everglades University. This has been a great experience because of some very educated professors who paved the way for me to understand the fundamentals of business. Dr. Carrillo and Dr. Bellamy were wonderful lecturers who answered all of my inquiries throughout the undergraduate program. They always provided great real time examples and served as mentors to look up to.
