"To anyone who read this please don't do what I did and do your research, this School make a lot of promises and doesn't keep any. I had the misfortune of picking this school and I could be more disappointed. They promised a evening course, but after the fist two semester you find out that the classes will be in the morning, They do not have all the accreditations, Their schedule can change at any moment, They change uniforms colors just so that they can charge you more money. Schools like this should be illegal, please don't loose your time and money."

"This school if full of smoke and mirrors. After over 1.5 years of complaining not only by students, but by instructors also, the schools network administrators have the computers that are used for the students locked down so hard, that the basic assignments in the books they ordered for the students were not able to be completed. If you attend this school for IT you better have your own computer, and Internet at home because between the web restrictions on the schools wireless and the computer restrictions, the only possible way to complete the assignments in the book is to do them at home on your time. The school refuses to address the issues that the students are bringing to them, and they are telling each student whatever it takes to keep them. I will never return to this school, nor will I ever advise a person to go to this school. After talking to some of the medical students, their side of the school is just as bad. One student in particular said their class had to do all their initial needle sticking on each other because the official test dummy had been worn out so bad, it was unusable. I did not choose this school, I was placed in this school by the department of education in Florida, because the school I was attending was shut down by the department of education and the FBI. that school was Fast Train. This school appears to be doing the same exact things from a students prospective, that fast train was doing prior to being shutdown. the fact that the credits are not transferable is also a major issue if you want to further your knowledge and degree. DO NOT GO TO FLORIDA CAREER COLLEGE AKA ANTHEM.EDU unless you are just doing it to do it... This school is the most unstable school I have been too, the courses offered have been renamed so many times during my time at the school, that you don't even know what you have or have not taken. There is no consistency in the school other then you don't know whats going to be what until the day it happens, this is to include your class schedule of what class you are going to take down do which teacher is going to instruct that class. DO NOT GO TO THIS SCHOOL... Take the time, spend the money and go through an accredited university which have transferable credits. The Career Department which is responsible for placing students in jobs didn't even ask me for a resume until I was into my last 2 classes for the school. Financial aide, they were good. That was an organized department. Instructors, about 50/50 1/2 of the instructors know what they are doing and teaching, the other pretty much just babysit you and read the power point presentations that are provided in the instructor resources. Your "Homework" that is required to be turned in is not graded, its a %100 or %0 the instructors require us to do this work on our time, however don't take any of their time to grade it, so you don't know if you have the right information come quiz or test time. There is a great deal more negatives about this school then there are positives. I could continue, but regardless of how much ranting I do here, it will never correct the negatives of that school."

"I honestly won't recommend this school to anyone! I am still attending it and have tried to drop out but they somehow convinced me to stay (mostly because I don't want to be home doing nothing and not want to stop what I have started blah blah blah) but now it's back on my mind to not come back for the next module, just trying to see how is the best way to get out. The teachers are great ppl and that's what motivates me to actually come to class, along with some friends I've made but I have to be realistic, the school only wants your money. They call you a lot during the first week of enrollment if you don't show up to class just so they don't lose a student (money). I wish I would have done some research before I got into this mess but now I'm stuck with a debt and I don't work so I fear if I leave now I would have to start paying my debt. Classes are mediocre, I don't feel like I really learn anything and I still pass with all A's. I don't feel like they test my knowledge to the best of my ability. Also the staff are so stuck up (most of them), they are all giddy with you when you enroll and then act like they don't know you the following week. I'm going to do some research on what my best plan should be to get out sooner rather the later, so don't be like me. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!"

"This school at first had lots of structure and organization , after a few passionate teachers were let go, dismissed. due to political stuff the school started falling apart! understaffed and overworked instructors equals no passion towards teaching, and mediocre lessons. They incorporated a new agenda where some students that enrolled earlier than others would alternate taking a week off school, pathic! the faculty were always confused and looked like they had no clue what was going on at their own job.I graduated the patient Care program. and haven't even received my temporary diploma, I received all my certifications .But when will I receive my actual diploma ? who knows ? I sure don't and when I asked no one knows either ! incredible !I participated in a program for students called federal work study it supposedly helps students make a little change while attending college, and from your paycheck you can pay your monthly enrollment from a very small check .The staff members work you to the bone! they are rude , inconsiderate , and when they buy food I was never regarded as a staff member, even though I did all the rough stuff.Lifting heavy boxes and putting up with bad attitudes .They should appreciate the students a lot more! after all we are paying to be enrolled and pay a monthly fee.dignity and respect isn't too much to ask for in my opinion .The classes are too fast paced and you can fall behind quickly, I'm extremely disappointed. and disgusted !"

"I really like my school. The rep was very helpful and fought for me to be admitted. The instructors are very professional and helpful. When I think of career colleges I do not think of actual degrees but I will end up graduating with an Associate's degree in nursing from an ACCREDITED nursing program. The price of this school is pretty pricy but it is well worth it because you receive alot of attention from the instructors and they actually know your name."

"If have seen these post about the schools. I will not say nothing about the teachers due to all have been awesome while I was attending. Now the career center is another issue. They talk so much during an orientation that they will help you if you need to get a job during your time at the school and after you have graduated. Well it is all a lie. Went to them because i needed help trying to find something with better hours from what I was doing and I was told to go online that since I am currently enrolled they cant help me find a job. Then when i finish the jobs that I was given to go apply was a warehouse job. Why are you going to tell me to go apply at a warehouse when I finish a program. I have heard that other campuses and other schools that are not FCC help you better"

"I started the PCT program in August 2012 and immediately started running into problems. The students you attend class with are a complete joke. They have no idea of what professionalism is. Their behavior and language regularly depict this. I complained almost daily to the dean about student and instructor content for the first few weeks. After having complained numerous times and finding that nothing was going to change, I stopped and decided to just sit in class with my mouth shut. The instructors are nice folks, don't get me wrong. Yet, they don't seem to have a lot of field experience to offer the student. I also understand that the teachers don't get paid well and therefore just barely participate in class and hardly ever gain control over a disruptive class environment. The information you "learn" in class is a joke. I have ZERO allied healthcare experience and I NEVER paid attention or studied for tests and I still passed with A's and B's. I never read the chapters, I never studied for tests, I was never challenged in my pursuit of higher education. A monkey with an unfortunate mental disorder could pass these classes with their eyes sewn shut! You will "learn" nothing. All the information you learn is nothing more than memorizing and repeating you you were told. The "tests" are nothing a 5 year old couldn't do. If you manage to stay awake in class and copy your homework answers out of the back of your book, you will pass with flying colors.I've been to a few places seeking jobs and these potential employers have no idea what a Patient Care Tech is! You are nothing more than a CNA or a HHA with some extended "learning." You will only be offered jobs in the $7.75-$12.00 range! I know damn well that I did not pay nearly $20,000 to make shit money. The loans I took out for this ridiculous course will take me 7-10 years to pay back. Seriously, if all you want is to be a CNA or HHA, take a weekend class for just a few bucks, take your state exam, and BOOM you will have your license. Don't waste 8 months of your life with this garbage. I told them before I enrolled that I did NOT want to work with geriatric patients, I said I wanted to work in an office helping a doctor. Well guess what, the admissions will tell you anything you want to hear just to get their numbers up. I mean it is a business, but they are not at all interested in your future whatsoever. After completing the course, I find out that all I can do is geriatric work for less that $12.00 an hour. I was told that this course was only aimed at geriatrics and nothing else. If I want to do something else I need to find another program to work on. So now I am studying to obtain my Phlebotimist license so I can make just a couple more dollars and hopefully get a better job. Even then they say they will have trouble placing me in a job for more than $10 an hour. I MADE MORE MONEY THAN THAT WORKING OVERNIGHTS AT A WAL-MART!!! Do your research before you allow someone to steal from you!!!"

I needed time to think things over and they actually gave it to me. They called me back in a couple days about my decsion and well decided to move foward. The professors are so dedicated and so far i am really liking it. I meet some nice students here as well. I love it."

"The teachers were good and I did learn a lot. However it was way to much money and the job placement (career services) is horrible. They created a resume for me and it had numerous spelling errors on it. They do not have any leads of companies hiring. They accept any student there, so there was a lot of fighting and drama there. Plus a lot of students speak very little English and it slowed the classroom learning down since the professors had to repeat the material over and over. The people about the loans call you numerous times wondering about the payment, they call me before my payment is even due claiming it is late. At least 6 times I have made a payment before the due date and they still call claiming I never made a payment and that because of this they are sending my account to collections. I have also got letters and email with other students loan information on it because they are very unorganized."

"I completed the 6 month skin care program here. If I could do it all over again I would have gone somewhere else. My course was 600 hours compared to the standard 260 you get at most other schools so it was two to three times the price of other institutions. The quality of education was below par. A lot of the equipment was broken or missing. I was supposed to get 100 hours of advanced makeup artistry but the problem was the instructors are not trained in makeup artistry so that month was a wash. We were supposed to learn lashes and we spent little time on that and got nothing. We learned lymphatic drainage but never actually did a service with it. Our teacher had a lot of personal issues that affected class time and the school had no backup plan nor did they make it up to us.The disappointment for me is that I spent more than twice the amount of money on this school thinking it would knock out continuing education classes for awhile. Now I have no extra training in the advanced classes and cannot afford continuing education because I owe a crippling amount of debt to these people. Oh, and as far as the license. The lady who heads the department is responsible for sending off our applications to the state and she refuses to tell me when she sent it off. I graduated three weeks ago and still no license. She probably didn't send it off right away...and why should she? She is working and making money. It is no big deal I am sitting here waiting to go on with my life."

"To whom it may concern:If you are thinking in applying for this school please think twice! Almost all professors are not well qualify to teach the material. Second, they harrass you more than a collection company to collect the 50.00 a month for their loan. I been taking exams in class when a lady knocks at the door to interrupt me and take me out of class to pay the 50.00. Guys don't be full by the advisers! My advisor even cried in the interview to sale me the program. They sold me this program for 15,000 when is not even worth 10,000. Guys do not commit the same mistake I made! This school is the worst I have ever attended in my life!!!!! Do you you research and believe what people say. God Bless"

"Personally, I loved my experience(s) at the Boynton Beach Location. (Can't speak for any other locations)Just about every module I had some sort of conflict with my work schedule and the school was flexible. Most times I couldn't make it on time or even stay for the full class. The teachers, excluding one, were very insight and willing to help me pass each course with the materials and knowledge that I would need once I left the classroom. Hell, even Career Services did their job and beyond. (I can name about seven interviews that I went on.) At the time I wasn't really focused on landing said positions because I already worked in the phenominal field of transportation. I mean in all honsety, the opportunity is what you make it. I believe that FCC provided me with an adquate enough education to become and stay certified in the field of Medical Billing and Coding."

"Florida Career college is an institute of so- called higher learning designed to exploit the likes of students who wouldn't be accepted to traditional college's or institutions. Florida career college has under developed curriculum and programs that are excessively over priced and not current. The schools sole purpose is to recruit students from lower income and social structures and sell them a pipe dream of success to basically rob them for financial aid funded by the US department of education. Their advisors are trained to use manipulation and deception to paint a unrealistic picture of success based off the students current struggles and failures. This is highly unethical and dangerous. The advisors are also under extreme pressure from management to either enroll students or be fired. Management will even go as far as to threaten advisors personally and financially for not bringing students in. Florida Career college also trains it's staff to do whatever they can to get a minimum of 4 days out of their students so at least the financial aid payment is received from the US dept. of education. It is highly immoral and unethical to recruit students who will not benefit from these programs or who don't have the ability to complete these programs all for financial gain for the institution. There is so much pressure applied to these advisors that they will do and say almost anything to enroll students. So before you consider attending FCC you might want to travel down to your local community college for half the cost and twice the accreditation and receive actual college credits towards a degree that can actually benefit you. So remember if you go in to a FCC campus and you hear the advisor showing you sympathy trying to constantly remind you of all of your pain and struggles that they have been trained to make you feel inferior to simply get your MONEY."

"My review is pretaining to this schools barbering and cosmetology programs. Ive only gone for a visit to speak to a recruiter and have a walk through and all seemed ok until I asked about job placement rates and successful graduation rates,, then things got very cagey.. And basically I was directed to do my own research. Even the director of the school couldnt find the figures for me onlne! But whats more disturbing is, I was mislead, in order to upsell their tuiton. They told me I needed the full on cosmetology program to open a barber shop in Florida. Im only interested in barbering, not nails etc.. Well the Florida State Barber Board says you need to complete a Barbering program. Not cosmetology.. So they lied out n out. I mean wouldnt they know at this school? They had to. I am not impressed, if this is how they treat people looking for basic truthful information, then what are they teaching people? It smacks of very little credibility to me. I will tell you.. Think twice before you choose a healthcare course program with a school thats also teaching how to do nails and makeup... It behooves you to go to a school specializing in your chosen field, does it not? Not some career clearing house. This is your life people."

"Usually the competition, students who do not honor their financial responsibility and have consequences they dont like..students that did not get along with an instructor because they wanted the degree handed down to them. X employees that were fired or could not handle the pressure of everyday work and quit. My advice- go to the school you are thinking of enrolling in, talk to the instructors and the current students there. Listen to your gut instinct. Its nothing new that the internet is full of fraud so why would you put so much faith on a review that's on here."

"This school is alot better then everest ... there has been soo many people coming from that school because they are not a good school at all!! Fcc is a great school, I have been attending this school for a few mths now and I really enjoy this school, when I can to this school i didnt have a high school dip or ged but this school has a test that you can take which is quite easy it you passed the 7th grade.. well after i had taken this test and passed the new mod was too start in 4 days by the time it was time to start I had recieved everything I needed. Any school that you attend is going to be costly you cant expect everything in your life to cost hardly anything..if you actually added up your books your supplys the dummies that you use the uniforms and etc it pretty much equals out to the money to go to school and its really sad how people can bash a school for the money if it wasnt for these kinda schools people like us that couldnt go to college or graduate from high school what kind of jobs are really out there for us? These schools re out to help you some are going to cost more or less then others but you cant just hate a school because you get one bad teacher or whatever... I think this is a great school and with us having a new dean ms. w. which i find a wonderful teacher and also some new teachers mrs.r. ms.B.! you def have to come down and check us out cause when you leave I bet your gonna love it!"
