"I would not recommend this school. Too far away from anything in Lakeland or Auburndale, incompetent professors that are barely qualified to call themselves teachers, hostile or unfriendly administration-- this university has had two suicides since opening, has had a union dispute between staff and the President's office, and has had mass student demonstrations over complete disregard for student mental health. If you're commuting from anywhere in Florida-- GO ANYWHERE ELSE BUT HERE. You will be left hungry most days because the easiest available meals to you are Chartwells' melange of dog food substitutes, as the closest restaurant is over five miles away by car. An Uber costs $20, and no delivery services will come out this far."

"Florida Poly is an amazing place to live and learn. The campus is beautiful as it has a huge lake. It is centrally located between Orlando and Tampa. The teachers are top notch! The classes are small so that everyone can get personal attention when they need it."
