"Fort Valley State University is a wonderful institution. They pride themselves on tradition and make EVERYONE feel like they're at home. The campus is not that big so accessibility is what I fell for the most. Nice sized classes are a plus as well. And We can't forget about HOMECOMING IN THE VALLEY! (It gets better every year)"

"Great experience right out of high school. I met several people and made life long friends. The education I received was appropriate for the degree. The professors and instruction prepared me for graduate school and my professional careers. I believe that the school set me up for success."

"I am very thankful for my time at Fort Valley State University. The training, knowledge, and skills I obtained there have prepared me to work in multiple fields. I also took several classes that helped develop my talents as a writer and photographer. I was then able to start a small business using these skills. I would recommend this university to propestive students and I am confident they will not be dissappointed."

"Having the opportunity to attend a university where all of your professors genuinely care for their students, and their successes is by far the best quality a university can have. Fort Valley State University was my home away from home. My professors set standards that they expected all of their students to meet, and disrespect inside or outside of the classroom was never acceptable. I truly appreciate the rigorous curriculum that kept me engaged in learning."

"Fort Valley State University is by far one of the most illustrious institutions within the U.S. in my opinion. The chemistry program in particular nurtures and prepares their students to enter into STEM careers in ways that are beyond the norm. Being nationally ranked for producing the highest number African-American with degrees in mathematics, FVSU continues to set high standards."

"I love the family atmosphere at Fort Valley State University. I am studying for a Master's in Animal Science. All of my professors have the open door policy which is awesome. The school is small so I don't have to make an appointment to see my professors. I'm grateful of the assistantship that they give their grad students so I don't have to take out loans. My favorite part of the program is the work we do with the animals. Overall, its a great place to go to school."

"The pros of the School Counselor Education program is that it is CACREP accredited, directed under three Licensed Professional Counselors (LPC), and it is only 48 credit hours. I absolutely love this program, it has molded and prepared me for the counseling field thus far. I would reccommend this program to anyone. As far as cons are concerned, I honestly have nothing negative to say about it. I would encourage many people to enter into this program. It is definitely awesome!"
