"Fortis College has significantly helped me work towards my career!! The staff is incredibly dedicated and works hard to fix any problems and make this program the best possible. The instructors don't just teach students, they go above and beyond to provide support. Prior to even starting the program, we had financial aid meetings, which made it incredibly easy to apply for the necessary aids. I left that meeting with no questions, and really appreciated the organization and structure dedicated to making it easier on students. I was nervous because while I have another degree, and a military background, this was my first time going through an admissions process alone. Communication could not have been clearer, and the staff really helped to lower any stress I had with the process. I would recommend this school to others because everyone works together to help the students pass and graduate with all of the necessary knowledge to be successful. Whenever problems arise, I have learned I do not need to worry because the Fortis staff is sure to figure it out!"

"Terrible school. Current student and I honestly wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. They act like they care about you but they only care about the money and keeping their “success rate” up... they do that by kicking you out of the program if you aren’t up to their standards. They treat you as if you are in high school and not adults in college. Teachers and instructors seem to care and go to great efforts to help you. Administration sucks."

"I am a recent graduate from Fortis College, Dental Hygiene. The hygiene program costs include everything you need to attend, scrubs, books, and instruments (52,000$). Please keep in mind that other programs within Maryland area are not a guarantee when prerequisites are completed. I would also advise checking other dental hygiene programs wait lists, some have a minimum 2 year after prerequisites have been completed. With Fortis your classes include the prerequisites. DO NOT TRY TO WORK THE SECOND HALF OF SCHOOL. This program is also accelerated and ACCREDITED. The classes are difficult and throughout your training you will question things, but as a recently certified RDH, I can fully attest to the fact that these ladies are teaching you to be ready for the real world. They are pushing to create work professionals, providing classes with resume building, PASSING boards and help with finding a job post graduation. (Added bonus of making friends with fellow students and teachers that will last the rest of my life.) Also- I've had my license for 2 weeks and I have had to turn down 3 job offers."

"Dental hygiene program in Fortis College brought me to a complete new way of life: knowledge, professional skills, organization, speed and confidence in my profession). All the hard work that I invested into this program paid me back. With a new DH program director Mrs.G., the overall experience in this school was great. She does go an extra mile for every student. She will help to bring all your potential to maximum degree. Instructors are well trained and always put an effort to help students every time they asked for. I know this school very well since it was Medix as I graduated there in a dental assisting program. Mr.F. was my master instructor. He trained and motivated me highly that dentistry is in my blood now. Later I decided to go same school to achieve a higher degree in dentistry. It was some bumps at the beginning as the DH program still was a new one at this school. So I am an RDH now. You cant imagine how thankful I am to my director and instructors of Fortis college, my financial aid people who helped me to overcome all barriers in order to become a licensed dental professional in a state of GA. THANK YOU!"

We'd love to make sure your feedback gets back to the great instructors you mentioned so I'm wondering if you'd be so kind as to let us know what campus you attended?
Feel free to post that here or I'd invite you to contact me at egoodman@edaff.com so I can learn more about the wonderful experience you had with Fortis. Thanks in advance and we wish you the best in your future!
