"Don’t go to this school! The management and staff are very unorganized. The welding program at Fortis College is a joke compared to other schools. Instructors will offer you help and you won’t get it. This school all about collecting your money with nothing in return. The staff is rude, the instructors are rude. I had a miserable experience and I know others have as well."

"To anyone thinking about taking this program. Be aware that teachers and instructors don't know about 1/3 of what they are teaching. The mathematics class was a joke, we spent weeks on things we would never use. Also the math teacher was and I quote learning some of the stuff with us. Overall it's a lot of money and less professional than other places."

"Awesome program! I feel like I'm learning a lot of welding process and I'm excited to start my welding career. The instructors keep it fun and interesting. I do miss a few instructors that use to teach here but the new changes are going good. I will tell other students about the program."

"I greatly appreciate Mrs. S., Mr. W. and Mr. S. because since I started they have been nothing but an amazing. Mrs. S. is the best ever she has really got me through this program because even the times I wanted to give up she motivated me to keep going and telling me I can get through it and even when times get hard never give up so hiring her was the best choice you could ever make. As far as the college it is a great opportunity and they actually help you with anything you are willing learn, welding is a great program and we have a great staff."

"A few months ago I lost my job. So I started looking for a job that compared to the past experience that I had, and something that would allow me to make a difference in other people lives. Well I filled out application after application, after application. So looked into different schools in my area; although Fortis was kind of far I went to the school and took a tour. The staff was extremely nice and willing to so see what I wanted to do with in my life to have a successful career. After speaking with a career advisor, I chose welding. I thought I would not make it because it was something new to me. I had a chance to meet with my instructors as an one on one project for advice to learn how I could be less defeated or intimidated. They made time for me before and after class to ensure that I was comfortable with my class work and lab projects. I can say it was well worth it. I have made the Deans List several terms and I am less defeated by my fears. I thank God that he has placed the staff in my path to direct my future. I would advise anyone making a career change or just wanting to see what options that can be afforded them to please put Fortis College on their short list to get a foot up on their new career goals. Thanks Fortis for everything."

"I am currently attending this school. The instructors are great! But as far as organization of classes and being behind, This school is no good. We cannot do aluminum welding because the school doesn't order the correct size tungsten. We have meetings that take away from class time... Which puts us further behind on our class work. I don't know about all Fortis College locations... But the one on South Cobb drive and Pat Mell road is not for me. Also the ratings I chose are for my location only. Like I said. I haven't attended any of the other locations."

"DO NOT I repeat DO NOT go to this school. This school is all about collecting money. I studied in the welding program. The lack of welding equipment and tools is unreal. Went a whole month without any metal to practice welding with. The teachers fighting in front of students. Teachers showing up to class completely drunk to the point where he can barely articulate. Must I go on? Stay far far far far far away from this school or you will regret it!!!"
