"Expensive with Flawed Policies and Poor SupportIt is unfortunate that a school as expensive as this one has such terrible policies in place. While there are a few instructors who genuinely care about student success, sadly, they are in the minority. One of the most frustrating aspects is that if you fail a theory class, you also automatically fail the clinical and lab portions, even if you’ve completed all the requirements to pass them. This means you have to repay and repeat both clinical and lab, which feels extremely unfair. It’s clear that this school prioritizes money and their NCLEX pass rates above all else. While NCLEX results are important, they shouldn’t come at the expense of student support and preparation for exams like COMPS.In the final quarter, the focus shifts to NCLEX prep, but you’re expected to pass three comprehensive exams (COMPS) before even thinking about the NCLEX. The problem is, nothing that’s reviewed in class seems to appear on the tests, which makes the whole process feel like a waste of both time and money. On top of that, trying to get help or even speak with someone is nearly impossible everything requires sending at least 10 emails before you get a response.Overall, this experience has been disheartening and not worth the high tuition cost."

"Welp, the reviews here dating from years ago are still relevant today. Fail 1 exam out of the 4, you basically are doomed for the rest of the semester. Teachers will just tell you to read the textbook and do 20 NCLEX questions a day. You can make flashcards for information from the teacher's powerpoint slides, copy and paste questions from the unit chapters study textbook, actually do the NCLEX questions daily, all studying for 3 weeks and end up with a very disappointing exam score. This is not just me, but only like 2 people are passing out of the entire class. Even worse, if you fail lecture, then you also fail lab regardless if you are passing one or the other. You will have to pay the same expensive tuition to take both and sit through it all again. This also means losing both credits combined enough to leave a permanent hole on your GPA. YOU CAN'T REVIEW EXAMS. How are we supposed to know what is correct or wrong if you've decided to retake the class? God, I wish I've taken reading these reviews seriously when deciding on enrolling. Apparently, there was a Change petition not too long ago that shows a glimpse of what us students have to face."

"I can’t say it loud enough, please run from this school. These proprietary schools are all about money. They are not really here to educate professionals. I only even looked at this school because my employer pays 100% tuition reimbursement for Galen. It has been a huge waste of time. I withdrew from my program to attend because it was free and was only informed after withdrawing that they would only accept 50 of my 94 hours from UTA."

"This is the worst school ever! They change the exams and make their own without main campus (Kentucky) informed. Staff never shows or teach nothing. If you not in the circle they will kick you out or change your exam grade by blaming the scantron malfunction. I have proof and releasing it to the board members of every campus. STAY AWAY FROM SA GALEN especially veterans"

"The school is out to make money. You pass lecture with high grades and pass CPE but failed a dosage when asked for help they tell you that YOU SHOULD KNOW. I asked for help and tutor was booked for the entire week I needed help. I failed dosage and had a high grade in class. I am now repeating the whole course with lecture. What I don't understand is it's that you can fail one test in lecture and still pass if you pass the rest of the exams but fail one test and you failed the whole course."

"I still attend here and I am HIGHLY disappointed. I feel like the teachers do not even feel confident in what they’re teaching. Every exam for every Galen campus are the same, you don’t get your test back afterwards to “prevent cheating” and we can not review it afterwards. This is frustrating because we can’t see what questions were thrown out and for what reason. Honestly, this school cares mostly about making money and little on your education. There’s 600 pages to read for a test and we can’t get any sort of study guide other than the professor telling us to read the book. It’s also frustrating that your professor doesn’t write the exams, they have exam writers. I would never recommend this school."
