"At first enrollment seemed to good to be true. They have very aggressive enrollment counselors. The online class forums are user friendly. The majority of professors did not seem Christ centered. One of the professors I had was passive aggressive. I disenrolled due to a family emergency. They reenrolled me without notifying me and now want me to pay for classes they enrolled me in without my consent. They're sending it to collections if I don't pay for their mistake. They never checked in on my family with our long term emergency situation they only wanted their money. Supposed christian university. I would not send your kids here if you want conservative Christian values to remain intact. They display neither in word or deeds."

"This has been a great experience. I am only half way through, but I greatly appreciate that the school has hired some great professors that are committed to their field. You have not taken the easy way and gone with the politically correctness that seems to have encompassed the world. My professors are staying true to the Word of God. They live by it and they embrace it. This has been a great experience."

"Grand Canyon University is an excellent school that encouraged me to finish my degree and find my passion in life. Grand Canyon University helped drive me toward God and allowed me to find my future calling in the ministry while working and having a baby. I love Grand Canyon University and have recommended the school to many friends. As of August I will once again be a student with the working on my Masters degree. I feel the school is there to help out their students rather than being in education for the money, as many of my previous schools have been. They always hold their students to the highest standards so they can push them to be the best they can. The teachers are always there to help, and are understanding when unavoidable situations come up. Every teacher has helped me to strive towards excellence and find the deeper message of the information in every class in order to help grasp a better understanding of the topic at hand. I have, and will in the future recommend this school to anyone that is looking at not only receiving a degree but attempting to understand the importance of each subject they are learning."

"Grand Canyon University has been very good for me. I didn't expect to agree with everything, but most of it has been a good learning experience for me. The teachers have mostly been great too. I never had a problem with feedback from any of them. I believe that if you do the work, it does turn out better in the long run. It's like any other school you would attend. The further you go the work gets a little more complicated. It is supposed to be a sacrifice, not a vacation. The sacrifice is what helps you make it to the next level in your life, career or calling. It doesn't just benefit the individual, but all you may encounter in the future. It may get harder somewhat, but I trust that God will see me through. I have not had a problem with any classroom work as far as the materials I need to do my work. I had to do the work of researching for the answers I needed. GCU's library provided that information as well as acceptable websites and the textbooks. I encourage anyone to stay the course as much as possible. Life happens and prohibits some things from happening, but if you can work through it, stay the course. It will pay off in the long run. Thank you GCU for making this possible for me as a working adult and ministry leader. GCU and life with an awesome God has made me stronger, wiser and better than I could have ever imagined. I'm glad to be a part of the Lopes Family. They are helping to equip me for my future commitment to the call of God on my life. GCU appeared at just the right time in the course of my life."

"After looking at a multitude of colleges I decided to go with GCU. I'm a married military veteran and it fit with my life and is competitively priced. It is a traditional brick and mortar school with an online presence. The online component of Grand Canyon University is very well designed. The advisers are extremely helpful. The structure of the courses are set up to build upon one another. There is a lot of reading, writing, and discussion. It is eye opening and encouraging to see the varying viewpoints and theories that are presented. In order to graduate you simply have to do the work. Be proactive. It is your time and your life. The value of the education rests in what you bring and take from the experience. I had a great time, met some wonderful classmates, and learned quite a bit about myself. Now I'm going back to complete a Doctorate. If you are ever given the opportunity go visit the campus. It is beautiful!"

"I began my studies here at GCU in August of 2011. From before day one on I have had an excellent experience. In November I will be graduating and will begin work towards my Masters in Divinity. I admit that at times the counselors are not always at my beck and call, yet, I am always able to get a hold of someone to answer my questions. The school work is challenging and relevant. I find many of the negative reviews completely alien to my experience. I recommend this school to everyone I speak to about schooling. It has been an excellent experience and I expect it to continue to be rewarding as I go into the MDiv program. Many people have called this school a degree mill. A degree mill is a school without accreditation. The accreditation of Grand Canyon is easy to research on the Internet. Every such claim is dishonest!"
