"Honestly, just run far away from this school and anything they “have to offer”. First, the student service counselors are deceiving. This is obviously a for-profit college that wants to belittle their students and strip them of all of their money. You will be harassed to no end after being blatantly deceived. Second, the courses are hysterical and not even remotely related to your degree. You spend so much time on these course and waste a year away. Doing online college shouldn't even take 4 years, because you don’t even get the same “breaks” as on campus students. They trick the system, trick financial aid, and leverage any kind of money they earn over your head. Avoid GCU at all costs."

"I am usually not one to leave negative reviews, but my experience with this university has included a very deceitful enrollment process followed by no effort to make things right. My counselor led me to believe I was enrolling under terms that were completely different than what they actually were. I also have tried reaching out to every GCU staff contact I can find and there has been no response whatsoever. If you are planning to attend here, I would recommend not trusting the counselors and making sure you know exactly what you're signing up for."

"For me, GCU is not living up to the reputation it has nor the hype it markets. I am an online student and the classes are not organized, some of the messaging from teachers on upcoming work and assignments have noting to do with the assigned reading material, and when you ask a question, you get very canned and lackluster answers such as "GCU sets the curriculum."As others have stated, most teachers are simply there to look like a college professor but do not have a clue how to coach, lead, or teach a thing.Honestly, if I thought I could finish my last few classes elsewhere I would but I am so close it is not worth the effort. I will NOT be enrolling at GCU for my Masters!"

"Yoooo this school is buggin handing out parking tickets, violations and fees for $100+ like its candy day.. the professors all try to push the Christian religion on students, and the account officer is a scam artist! Non-profit means they just PROFIT all the financial aid they accept. SO WHY WOULDNt THEY ACCEPT ALL OF IT. Wake up yall, GCU may look nice & sweet but the executives and teachers are literall idiots - half online teachers were oriental old people that close not know how to realond via forums. Save your $30k a year. Theyre total revenue surpasses 600M a year"

"So far this place has been a madhouse. It is impossible to get in touch with your student service counselor and I have never heard of a school making you pay for three classes up front, just so your financial aid to work. They will scam you out of your money. After these three classes are over, I am going to another online university. Poor choice for me and I did not read the reviews before applying. Never heard of a university that does not deposit your financial aid in your account or a pay card, but you will receive a check by mail. HUGE SCAM. The staff never knows anything, and you talk with thirty different people before you actually speak to some you really need."

"I have loved my experience at GCU. Like most things in life, this experience is what you make it. I made sure to introduce myself to all of my professors and tried to be as involved as I could and it has paid off a thousand times over. These professors all have tons of real-world experience and almost all that I have come in contact with have a genuine heart for students and they want to see you succeed. I cannot recommend the CCOB enough for students who want to invest in their future and make a difference."
