"I took one class here and I am transferring. I am a very busy student and I was focused on getting my BA and teaching certification online, not easy to find. I had a great time with my advisor, finding the best path for me. He was great with communication and found me the fastest way to get what I needed out of my education. The first class is a mandatory university class, pointless. The second class, also mandatory, Christian Worldview. No one everrrrr said this was a Christian school until I saw this class and had been in contact for months, working on paperwork and choosing a major. The class is horrific. It is massively offensive to all non-christians and the professor has the audacity to say we should not judge each other. This place is a joke that is dead set on getting you right where they want you and then making some strange attempt at conversion. If you don't love Jesus, steer clear."

"I was excited to start online classes. When my grandpa got ill and passed away they would not approve enough time off. I got charged for a class I did not take. But today I got an email from them saying they would forgive the money of I came back before Feb 28th. I responded with a few concerns. The response I got was to ignore the email I got because they would not honor it. They did not even address my concerns. They truly only care about money."

"Attending Grand Canyon University has been a thoroughly enjoyable experience. I started taking classes with GCU as they visited my work. I had a great experience with a very patient recruiter and have found the staff genuinely try their best to help. There are times when it takes a bit for the left hand to understand the right hand's intent, but in general, everyone is sincere in their effort to make the experience successful. I had to take a break in my studies to move and followed my advisor's instructions on how to do it with an email request and a form. I was able to pick up where I left off with my courses and am pleased to say I have completed my "four-year" degree. Christians aren't perfect people, they are just people that know they are loved and want to share love. This program worked well for me as I was working full-time and needed to take one class at a time."

"Grand Canyon U was convenient because I needed to work fill-time while I went to school. The professors were quality and helpful. So were the other staff that helped me achieve my goals. The classes taught me what I needed to know to become an educator. The observation hours helped me see the strategies in action. Great program."

"I want to be proud to say I went to GCU and for everyone to say, Wow, that is a good school, and that online education is as good as classroom instruction or perhaps better! The world is not a perfect place, neither are people, nor the organizations that they put together. Although we are making life more complex than it needs to be, there is no excuse why we cannot be more concern with each other. I think we should "all" try to ~ be the change you want to see in the world~ Gandhi. Nevertheless, we complain about each other and still, nothing changes because the problem lays on the system. The Accreditation Institutions need to take into consideration the complains. I am not an expert in legal matters, but reading the concern and disappointments of many makes me realize that some things need to change. The same students are expected to have minimum grade level, Universities should also be graded with expectations and be put into an inactive period; I am sure it will create a responsible reaction. The government Financial Aid (FAFSA) should regulate how many negatives complains a school can have before being penalized for not rendering to the students what is rightfully theirs. We are paying for our education and our voice should be heard. Every school should have a mentor for the dissertation, The government should supervise and ensure that GCU and other schools provide their customers (students) excellent, satisfying results. It is time to crack the system and bring our education to a higher standard."

"My experience at first was great and it went declining. However, GCU technical support is outstanding. They are all about assisting the students with whatever is needed and at times they go above and beyond expectations. I wish the standard were equable throughout the school. Very few are engaged in providing quality service. By the way, I took a teaching accredited diploma from the United Kingdom a few months ago, and to my surprise, I learned so much more than at GCU. What a pitty."

"I choose GCU because they not only offered a duel degree in education but I was also able toget the Teach grant. This grant is very important to me as I need as much loan fogivness as possible. "Veterans please stay away this school is up to no good. No leadership, online school is a joke, this school needs improvement. I found out that GCU monitors social media such as facebook and will expell students if they are not of Christian faith. I came to GCU because I was led to believe that I didn't have to be of Christian faith to attend, however this is false information don't believe in the lies and empty promises this school will serve up. Other highlights of my time spent at GCU involves issues with stipend not being issued."

"This school lets you enroll with an agreed program and then adds classes without students knowledge, then lies to you about how and why. They claim to be a Christian University though they do not act that way. I highly recommend you to look at other schools that offer better programs and would act more ethically then GCU's staff do."

"I attend GCU and I have to say, I love it!!! I had previously went to The University of Phoenix and had nothing but trouble with everything and still managed to keep good grades. GCU is wonderful. Great enrollment counselor. When I first called about information for enrolling, he told me all the facts, all the pro's and con's of choosing this school and about my degree choice. He was extremely honest and sincerely wanted to help me choose the correct path for my future, even if it wasn't GCU. He wasn't trying to "sell" me. After enrolling, it has been nothing short of a pleasure dealing with the financial adviser and the whole financial aspect.There are many grants for my degree type and my financial adviser helped me get as much assistance as I could.I will hardly have to take out ANY student loans unless I need $ for a new computer or something. She was in constant contact making sure I got all paperwork filled out, ect.. My enrollment adviser contacts me often just to "check in" and he genuinely wants me to succeed. The first class is somewhat boring because it is just in an informative class about navigating loud cloud and learning about online school. Since this was my second online college, I pretty much knew everything pertaining to that already. The courses are VERY informative and I took a lot away from each one. The instructors are amazing and I even received occasional calls from them to see how I am doing. That is wonderful when in an online college because I don’t feel like just a name on the computer. Only negative I find is that some of the discussion questions/assignments are (in my opinion) so easy that they are hard. If that makes any sense. I second guess myself because I think, this is too easy. It can’t be right. As a student who has been to other online universities, I whole heartedly would recommend GCU to anyone. Especially if your after a degree in education. This college knows just what you need, helps with licensure, and even helps to get you into a local school to get the beloved student teaching completed. Which is required in order to get your teaching license. I love GCU. Take the good with the bad, people. Nobody is going to like everything. You need to be very focused, hard working, and have a lot of drive and motivation. You need to put the work in because this school will not pussy foot you or give you handouts. And to the people who are posting bad comments, Its college, you need to put on your big girl panties and take responsibility for your actions or lack there of."
