"Originally I was admittedly hesitant to begin an online MBA program; however, my counselor and professors have been phenomenal. I’m currently in my fourth class (Finance 504), and although the program coursework is rigorous and seemingly daunting at times, I can’t speak highly enough on how much I appreciate receiving a quality education from this institution. Students definitely will have to dig into their texts and earn their degrees; nonetheless, the depth of knowledge and level of business acumen that this program provides will challenge and prepare students to achieve more in their communities, workplace, and future careers. I’ve literally put at least fifteen hours of studying in within a week because the coursework is so engaging that it makes one not want to stop learning. I could complete requirements with a third of the time, but engaging with such interesting material inspires me to glean as much as I can from this experience. Thanks to GCU for preparing me for a brighter future and providing a biblical foundation, which only enhances knowledge of servant leadership and financial literacy."

"If you get stuck with a horrible instructor there is no way to withdraw without paying the full tuition. They are completely unwilling to help. Make sure you read the reviews of your teachers and if they are bad run before you post or you are locked in. For a Christian school they are not supportive at all of their students."

"I just recently finished my program and must admit I would not be writing this review if it were not for the fact that they charged me $150 to release my degree. I spent an exorbitant amount of money on a mediocre program and am understandably upset they would charge to register my completion of the program. I say the program was mediocre as the syllabus/assignments were premade so many instructors were just as confused as the students as to the expectations and assignment requirements. The rubrics and the actual assignment never coincided creating mass confusion and no sense of structure and continuity amongst instructors. The majority of assignments, internships and student evaluations revolved around an evaluation rubric thats no longer in use. Thanks GCU."

"The master's program I chose fits well with my career path. I am challenged by the courses as long as you are on top of the course work you are given ample time to complete the assignments. Financial aid was easy to work with. Student web page is easy to navigate."

"I really liked GCU and how doable the program was. I was able to work full-time and take care of my family while finishing my master's degree. Don't believe the negative reviews. I loved it. It was affordable. I graduated in 16 months and am now doing a doctorate. I received a promotion and pay raise as a result of my degree. You can talk about going to school... Or you can chip away at your educational goal while you work. Grand Canyon University was the most affordable in Colorado."

"GCU operates differently than any other University. You are assigned an advisor and they do everything for you. They welcome you to GCU, they are your financial aid advisors, they also take care of your enrollment. If you are unable to reach one advisor, the others cannot help you. You ultimately end up playing cat and mouse with your advisor about getting even the simplest of matters taken care of. My experience with GCU is they bounced me around from one department to the other in terms of getting me enrolled for a class. The responsible department never contacted me about a class that was to start on 6/18/15. Then about a week later I received a call asking why I had not been in class. The 'advisor' enrolled me in a class without even calling or emailing me to let me know. How can someone enroll you in a class and not even notify you? Thank god, someone called otherwise I would have continued to be enrolled and would have not even known it. All of this comes after a refund that was supposed to be made to my account, yet it has never been posted. GCU is a horrible environment. They are all sales driven and just want your money. Your best bet is to go to a REAL University. Not some for profit nonsense. I'm withdrawing from GCU and will never look back."
