"cons - expensive to live close by and off campus pros - network / education"

"The school's workload is appropriately difficult and there is a lot of support available to students who are struggling with any of the topics. It is in a great location and the pass/fail system in the first two years allows for a significant reduction in the competition between students. The financial aid is extremely generous with a substantial middle income initiative and a reasonable base loan amount."

"HMS is a diverse and exciting place to be a student; we have the opportunity to learn from the leaders in every field, and have access to wonderful networks and opportunities. We are around major hospitals, and receive training from them."

"Pros: Very generous need based financial aid. Great support for students from faculty and staff. Endless opportunities for career advancement and networking. Cons: culture really emphasizes academic medicine and creates a strange pressure to do a lot of research. This is not necessarily a bad thing but I think it puts a little bit of unnecessary pressure on first year students, especially those without substantial research experience."

"Pros: High caliber faculty and students, great career services and resources, flexible course choices (can enroll in any Harvard course or cross-register at MIT and in one school at Tufts), flexible program (only 3 required areas-can build own program) Cons: Living in Boston/Cambridge is expensive! Financial aid does not necessarily cover difference between EFC and cost of attendance, even with loans included-expect to fill gap from outside sources."

I just found out that I have been admitted to master of education program in human development and psychology at Harvard for full-time study for the 2013-2014 academic year. There are many pros for transferring to Harvard, most importantly, the incomparable quality of education. The only major con about Harvard is the high cost of tuition. I plan to transfer to Harvard in fall if I can find the funding to make it possible."
