"JSCC is the best bang for your buck, hands down. The classes aren't difficult if you apply yourself, and most professors are genuinely interested in helping you learn and succeed. Plus, the campus culture is absolutely amazing for a community college. The administrative staff, on the other hand, leaves a lot to be desired. Devote some effort, and you'll quickly discover that there's only a handful of people who are truly interested in helping you with all the non-education stuff. The student workers are WAY more invested in it than the tenured staff. This means you'll need to be a self-starter when it comes to registering for classes, keeping your student ID updated, and making sure your financial aid is in order."
