"Where do I even begin, they make you take pre reqs to only deny you before even starting the program, super disorganized and ruthless. This is for the Miami campus, don’t even waste your time, money hungry and loose files along the way. You know how frustrating it is to call and they are completely clueless ? Make you take 4 pre reqs and pay out of pocket to be like sorry you are denied into the program."

"As an international student, I would say: go there, they will help you with the documentation needed. I had amazing teachers, counselors and structure. It was a very good experience, I'm coming back soon! I will be forever grateful for how this university helped me."

"PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!!! i am a just graduated high school student that has chosen to attend keiser in hopes of achieving a masters degree and becoming a nurse practitioner. THIS SCHOOL IS A JOKE!!!! the first problem was with financial aid. my mom started the process of getting everything paid for and ready a year before i was suppose to attend, fast forward, we are now a month before fall semester starts and they say they cant find any of my papers and that i wont be able to attend school unless they have my papers. so once they made my mom take time off of work to resend all of my papers that they lost they told us that it would be smart for my parents to take out a parent plus loan to cover the extra little amount that is not covered by my scholarships, and whatever money is left over from that i will be getting back, they told me that i should be expecting around $1000-2000 back during the month of october..... the month of october came and went and there was no money credited to my blackboard account. so i went in to talk to someone and they gave me every excuse they could possibly come up with every single week until the month of december when we were about to go on winter break. turns out. they pay your tuition with your loans first and then your scholarships and then whatever money you have left over from your scholarship ends up going to another student.......... please reread that and make sure you fully understand how poor their communication skills are...THIS IS A FOR PROFIT SCHOOL WHICH MEANS THEY WILL DO ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING THEY CAN TO S**** YOU IN EVERY POSSIBLE WAY OUT OF EVERY LAST PENNY YOU HAVE!!!! the nursing director when i went to go talk to her didnt even know what her own program entailed and on top of no one communicating with each other you are treated like a child. the dress code is absolutely ridiculious as well as their reason behind having one. i should not be paying $2000 per class and still being told what i can and can not wear like a highschool student. that is absolutely absurd. and anyone who still decides to go here after reading this is absolutely insane. i would rather be in debt over student loans than in this unorganized facility. OH!!! almost forgot to mention.... they bad mouth every other college they possibly can to make you think youve made the right decision, sort of like a toxic relationship... tearing down everything around you so that you feel lucky that they accepted you when actually theyre ruining you."

"STAY AWAY FROM KEISER UNIVERSITY!!! I attended Keiser University (West Palm Beach) campus back in 2015-2016 and that was the biggest mistake I ever made. The only two good things about this school were the professors and one class per month. I received a check from Keiser at the end of the school year, I still have the voicemail from one of the lady from the Bursar's office that called me to verified my address because the check had returned back to them due to bad address. I got the check and I thought it was left over money from mine student loans, so I used it to caught up on bills. A month later I found out that I have to pay back the money because the money was for my last class with them. Two years later, they are still holding on to my transcript until I pay them $1,700 which I already paid $400.00 towards. The manager at the Ft. Lauderdale campus is blaming me for cashing the check, saying that I sholud have returned the check back to them. I feel like they screwed up and need to own up to their mistakes and waive the amount and give me mine transcript. I DO NOT recommend Keiser University to anyone. Save yourself the headache and go to South University, for the same amount of money you can graduate with a bachelor degree at South University."

"I went to the Orlando campus from 2011 through 2013. Mrs. G, was by far the worst instructor I ever had, but other than her inability to teach in a classroom setting and ridiculous exams, the school was great! Mrs. S, is the best! It is definitely expensive, but it's faster than taking 5 million unnecessary prerequisites and wasting 4 years (plus waiting lists) on a public university, so you can start working faster."

"Just wanted to say that this was an awesome program that did exactly what they said they would do. I got my ADN and passed my NCLEX the first time. I am about to start my dream job and I owe it all to Keiser and the awesome professors who went above and beyond to make sure I had what I needed to succeed."

"I graduated from the Port Saint Lucie campus in nursing and I am making great money! I was about to drop out after I failed a class, but J. and J. in financial aid worked together to keep me in...they took time to help me get back up and found a way to help me afford to re take the class. You simply don't get that type of help at a community college. They really cared about me and I could tell it wasn't just for the money. Yes Keiser is expensive but worth every penny because of workers like them. Thank you guys. I'll never forget how you cared about me...just a single mom trying to make a better life for me and my daughter."

"The program is extremely fast paced, you barely have time to learn anything. You "pump and dump" the information between tests to keep up. And guess what? If you fail, there aren't any seats open in the program for 2 years and you have to transfer. Don't waste your time, go to a real school."

"School is very unorganized, teachers are very unprofessional in the nursing program. Teacher stated she was going to make test harder because we all did so good on last test. Which is unfair. Also the teachers talking about the students unprofessionaly and in front of other students. Made comments that they didnt care if you have a family on a ventilator that you cannot miss class or being on your phone."

"DO NOT ATTEND THIS SCHOOL/NURSING PROGRAM, please! The instructor turnover rate should be a good indication as to how awful this program is run, and what a bully the Program Director is. ONE of my instructors actually taught, the others just read off of power points. The workload is so much that you aren't able to understand and retain information long term. ATI is God. You're given books, and told to read them, nothing else. Clinicals are ALWAYS getting canceled for one reason or another. This program does not allow students to learn and feel confident in their abilities. The lab is a JOKE. All of the mannequins are broke, no supplies, no organization. Choose another school, do your research! This school is WAY too expensive for the low quality education you will receive."

"My experience with Keiser University has been a complete NIGHTMARE.!!!! I was enrolled in this school for 6 days....literally 6 days and had to dis-enroll due to a family emergency. I turned in all documents and they still put $5800 on my credit bringing my credit from a 672 to 549 still to this day they still won't remove all charges from the credit bureaus. They're telling me they have nothing to do with it. I have even spoken with corporate. No one is willing to help, return my emails or calls. They're very expensive and they are scammers. Wouldn't recommend this school if my life depended on it."

"The university prepares you well for the real world and for national boards. The instructors are knowledgeable and approachable. The program is hard but if you put in the work you can do it. Would recommend the nursing program to anyone looking to go into this exiting career."

"Do not go to Keiser Orlando for nursing unless you want to spend more money than any person should have to for the privilege of teaching yourself. The instructors spend too much time talking about personal experiences and not teaching the subject material. If they cannot answer your question they will tell you to look in the book and find out for yourself. When you find that they give information contrary to accepted practice they will tell you to just accept what they say, even if the information is contrary to ATI which they treat as the God of nursing. Grading is done by some instructors based on making themselves look better like taking tests then getting into groups to correct the test using books and internet then turning them in for grades while in class."

"Worse school I have ever attended. Teachers just do not care about students at all. Attendance and tardiness is such a big issue, that is just ridiculous, and sometimes things happen, but they just don't understand, and of course THEY can be late. As a student, I felt like they were doing me a favor, instead of me paying for good education, which by they way you will not receive at this institution. In regards to the nursing program, you will feel threatened all the time, they just make it very difficult with soooooo many homeworks and stuff to do at home, that you don't even have time to study, so basically you just go from task to task without learning what you actually need to learn. And if you drop half way, they will charge you for the whole semester It is all a big disappointment, shame on them."

"With the exception of the professors at this school, I would not recommend Keiser University period. When I first started with them, they were amazing. They made it look like they were 100% on your side and will help you out in any way possible. As I entered into my 3rd semester, that changed! Keiser gives students money to help out if you qualify for allied health. Meaning if you work with a hospital while going to school, they give you 20-25% off of your tuition each semester! BOGUS! All of a sudden they changed their rules and no longer offer that tuition. They are a scam and the only people they look out for are themselves and I'm not the only Nursing student who experienced this issue. They are all about money and only care about that."

"Is it more costly than other programs...? Yes. But you also dont have the wait to get into nursing programs like many other schools. Financial aide helped me out tremendously and I was able to use veterans benefits. The classes are accelerated which can be difficult if you miss a day. But the teachers and professors were always willing to work with me and I found them very available after hours to answer questions and offer help. This school is not for everyone. You need to be driven and able to keep up with accelerated classes. If you cant you will be left behind. I have seen many people have to repeat a class only to be dropped from their program because they were unable to obtain the grade. Overall. I would give the school 5 stars if it wasn't for the cost. That is my absolute only complaint."

"I have been at Keiser for over a year and have never been treated so poorly. I have heard that other programs are great but the nursing program is anything but that. There is only 1 teacher that really cares about the students. There is another teacher thay will harass students. She makes sure you will have the worst time there possible. The director is not an advocate for the students, he is aggressive and if you have a complaint he will never be on your side. I will never recommend this school to anyone I know while the nursing program is run this way."

"Over all, Great Experience. This school is not for everyone. The Gen eds are accelerated so you learn a normal semester in 4 weeks. I loved it because I hate school and was able to finish quickly and I maintained a 4.0 in Gen Eds. The actual nursing program was different. 4 month long semesters instead of 4 weeks and pretty tough but i was still able tough maintain As & Bs for final grades. Our class had it rough - new instructors, unfocused instructors, instructors leaving - in the middle of the semesters. A lot of our clinical time was cut and we were left without preceptors in the last semester and given some lame excuse as to why. Also, this is a private school, not public, which makes it much more expensive. I had the GI Bill so I didn't have to worry about that. One thing that was great was that they make your schedule, no waiting in line for classes that may be full. Another thing was that they handled all the financial stuff and submitted everything for me. One piece of advice, buy your books on line and ask the class ahead of you what they used. You don't use about half the books on the list each semester. Huge waste of money. VA book stipend doesn't cover it."

"This school is not for everybody, for me it was obvious to choose this school. Main reason: They accepted every single one of my credits to transfer in. Other schools (FIU, FAU, and UM) took 1/2 the credits Keiser did. I already earned my A.A from SCCC (State University of New York's community college) so I was unwilling to retake classes that I've already had (and earned an A). The one class at a time schedule is great, there is nothing more stressful than having to take 4 finals in one week! Here I feel like you can really learn rather than try to cram just to pass. Focusing on one class at a time was the way to go for me. The professors at the Miami campus were excellent, but the office staff were horrible. They misplace everything (including your official transcripts, so get everything in writing that they have them, best way is through e-mail), they are very rude, most of them are young and couldn't seem to care less about their job. I recently transferred to the Ft. Lauderdale campus (also switching programs), and in the short amount of time I've dealt with them I am pleased with their professionalism and respect. Overall, know what to expect if you choose Keiser you will work your butt off (they're not going to hand you a degree, which is what some people expect)."
