"The program is extremely fast paced, you barely have time to learn anything. You "pump and dump" the information between tests to keep up. And guess what? If you fail, there aren't any seats open in the program for 2 years and you have to transfer. Don't waste your time, go to a real school."

"This school is a joke, the faculty are not qualified to teach. I am only posting this to deter young students to save your money and time. I have read a lot of the negative posts here and they are true, you will see for yourself if you attend this "University" pff, again a joke!!"

"This school is interested in MONEY as I have seen them bounce good students without any consideration in trying to get them taught the material. They seem to take glee in dropping students so long as they have a new nursing student ready to pay. Read carefully as you can not retake a class like you can in the public college system in Florida. They are taking advantage of the limited supply of nursing slots in the public university system. Even though I graduated they state to students don't worry you can get into another nursing school easily which is a lie. The credits don't all transfer and again its about the MONEY. Not for profit my backside."

"First of all, the lady that teaches Kinesiology is unqualified...She does not even have a Masters. She does not like questions, her power points are horrible, and her exams are filled with so many mistakes. She has favorites especially those that do not question her because quite honestly they do no know any better. She is abrasive and the open door policy with her is false. She speaks horribly about other students with other students and we hear back. Please have someone more qualified because she is not. People make sacrifices and this school is not cheap. Subsequently, this class does not have an accompanying lab. They have a lot of stupid papers which is such a waste of time. Now I know why no one takes Keiser seriously."

"School is very unorganized, teachers are very unprofessional in the nursing program. Teacher stated she was going to make test harder because we all did so good on last test. Which is unfair. Also the teachers talking about the students unprofessionaly and in front of other students. Made comments that they didnt care if you have a family on a ventilator that you cannot miss class or being on your phone."

"Keiser University is definitely a school that I would recommend to others. Although it is a private school, which many seem to frown upon, it is actually pretty good. They only do one class at a time, and you always finish that class in one month. Then you never have to go back again. It's just nice to know that you can concentrate on one subject at a time and don't have to juggle between classes. They still count semesters just like everyone, and you still get at least 4 classes each semester, it just makes it more simple."

"The school is great and the faculty is awesome. I love how cozy the school is. It makes it nice to come here, feels like family. Dr. Chapman was so great in all of our classes. We held study groups once a week to go over everything in class to make sure that everyone had everything down."

"I really enjoy the program and all of the professors help to help you reach your goal. The financial services are helpful but the option to defer portion of our tuition would help those who need to work. I do believe the Kinesiology class needs to be extended to 2 months because the amount of the information."

"Why does it seem that almost everyone who wrote a bad review about Keiser displays some of the worst grammar I've ever seen?! No wonder these people are angry- they most likely weren't doing well, and expected to get a good grade anyway as if this was Broward Community College. Yes, it's more expensive than BCC, but the teachers, administration, and financial aid personnel were wonderful, dedicated, and extremely knowledgeable. In fact, my financial aid adviser showed me how to apply to receive more funds for school, so I barely had to pay any tuition at all. On the contrary, after attending Broward College for one semester last year, I found it to be extremely disorganized, incompetent, and uncaring, starting from my academic adviser all the way to administration and professors. If you want quality, you have to find a way to pay for it, and Keiser turned my whole viewpoint around after such a bad experience at BCC. Further, Keiser allowed me to transfer all my BCC classes as well as the credits I'd earned when I lived in New York, so I didn't lose any hard-earned credits. College isn't for everyone, but if you're really motivated to succeed, Keiser is one of the best colleges you can hope to attend in South Florida.!!!! Here's to working hard, instead of being 'passed along.'"

"I say this in all sincerity to anyone interested in their future goals, stay away from this school. My PCP warned me not to attend Kieser PA Program from past lawsuits with this school regarding scamming students financially, however it was the only school available with a 10 yr expiration date on credits. Having graduated so long ago, it would aid in not having to retake any past classes. To my surprise despite already having 2 B.S and meeting all pre-reqs , I was recommended to retake a few classes that I've already taken to boost my portfolio. I did hesitate on the idea since my degrees gained me admittance to a Med school in the past, but after further researching decided becoming a PA would be best fitting for variations/change in medicine vs having to specialize in 1 disciplines forever. I emphasized the need for an evening class to accommodate work and was ensured it would be avail. After registering for 3 classes, the financial aid advisor suggested in her honest opinion not to retake ANY class I passed already b/c Kieser prriority is making money not what's best for me. So I decided to only keep 1 (as a refresher) of the 3 courses, withdrew from one, and didn't take the 3rd since the was told the week of class by the advisor evening wasn't avail and was misinformed. I contacted the school to pay cash for the 1 class and was told I owe $7000 for all 3 classes. To add fire cannot apply to their program scheduled to start next year w/out a full payment for transcripts. Literally can not even apply to any other PA US program since omitting ANY school transcript (i.e.: Kieser) in an application will be deemed as automatic void for falsification (failure to report). I feel like I'm living a NIGHTMARE after spending 2yrs racking up qualifying healthcare hours to even make it to the point to apply to any schools. I was stubborn, as I'm not the type to determine my capabilities off of others failures. DO NOT FALL for the pretty picture they will paint, use my situation as a blessing in disguise and go elsewhere."

"While this is an excellent career choice and degree program, I find that Keiser's tuition is far from the norm. The program is 6-semesters long at a cost of $10,000 per semester--$60,000 for an Associates of Science degree. My Ph.D. was $66K--really people. I am also not certain whether the program is accredited by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Students may want to visit their webpage. Students may want to seek other options that are more cost effective and receive the same degree--website medical technology schools."

"Keiser University is my personal recommendation for any student actively perusing a career driven degree. The professionalism and care takenamong the alumni is unmatched in contract to state driven schools. I have received excel at grades with hard work in better condition than previously acquired through my state run experience in regards to academics."

"DO NOT ATTEND THIS SCHOOL/NURSING PROGRAM, please! The instructor turnover rate should be a good indication as to how awful this program is run, and what a bully the Program Director is. ONE of my instructors actually taught, the others just read off of power points. The workload is so much that you aren't able to understand and retain information long term. ATI is God. You're given books, and told to read them, nothing else. Clinicals are ALWAYS getting canceled for one reason or another. This program does not allow students to learn and feel confident in their abilities. The lab is a JOKE. All of the mannequins are broke, no supplies, no organization. Choose another school, do your research! This school is WAY too expensive for the low quality education you will receive."

"I started at Sarasota Keiser at 1st I was excited my enrollment advisor made Keiser sound terrific just like all con artists do once I over heard a different advisor telling another potential student the same speech my advisor had told me almost word for word but by then I'd already enrolled I had been lied to from the beginning advisors are paid by how many people they enroll how can you ever trust they will be honest just do yourself a solid and RUN from this place! After 3 weeks of attendance I came in an hour early to speak with my professor before class, just as I started speaking this other professor whom I've never seen before walks in & sits his fat ass on the edge of my guys desk like he's suppose to be there as soon as I finish speaking this professor chef Mitch aka fat girl starts critiquing my uniform cause I didn't have on the stupid neck scarf they require everybody to wear I responded by saying I'll put it on before I walk into class because but he thought he was gonna speak down to me didn't like that answer so he begain to act like a tough guy until I got in his face this guy practically ran out of my professors office into his office where he slammed and locked his door it seems chef Mitch was a b**** after all of his tough guy performance which is typical of bullies I left pissed off returning the next week having thought why should I pay an absurd amount of money to be treated like a jerk from staff because they think they have impunity I went to class and was called into the deans office and guess who was in there crying chef Mitch b**** but he wasn't acting like he did with me nope he was playing the victim I left the deans office on academic probation for however long and instead of going back to class I left ended up attending another culinary program that had the same cyllibus and I'm not in debt Keiser is just a fancy vocational school you are taught out of the same books as vocational schools this place is all about getting you to pay them just like a sleazy used car salesmen, once you start your stuck owing, it's been since 07 and I still owe $3600 for attending 3 weeks... I really hope I see chef Mitch B**** again he's not gonna get away next time"

"It has been a few years since my last degree earned from Keiser and while I can say I'm professionally excelling I do not give much credit to the institution for my success. The professor demonstrated poor leadership and assistance. Once you graduate you will not be given grants your entitled to and will be left with what in reality is an unethical cost for a degree. Many COTAs who graduated from this university are not knowledgeable of the new healthcare regulations or documentation requirements. My personal experience from having hands on experience with management/operation within scope of practice of CMS, ACHA and all relating federal state regulations is that Keiser does not prepare and is behind with the healthcare changes. As a former graduate of Keiser as COTA the education level and hands on is not even close to being worth the cost you'll pay for it unless you have a current position you are growing in for increased clinical degree in short time. The financial aid do not educate in loans, grants or cost....sad that today in the world when 90% of the graduated adults will live in credit their is not a course on loans and etc for the new college students but a rush stack of papers requiring signatures so they can be processed for the beginning semester. After the vent to sum up my experience; the education is not worth cost and you will find yourself trying to educate yourself and felling angry."

"Stay away! Unless you want to owe alot of money. I owe over 30 grand and have a degree I can't even use. The financial aid department fed me lies. Places like this only care about money. They take my taxes every year as I could not afford the payments they wanted every month as I have a family to take care of."

"My experience with Keiser University has been a complete NIGHTMARE.!!!! I was enrolled in this school for 6 days....literally 6 days and had to dis-enroll due to a family emergency. I turned in all documents and they still put $5800 on my credit bringing my credit from a 672 to 549 still to this day they still won't remove all charges from the credit bureaus. They're telling me they have nothing to do with it. I have even spoken with corporate. No one is willing to help, return my emails or calls. They're very expensive and they are scammers. Wouldn't recommend this school if my life depended on it."

"I thought this school was going to be a good choice at first but now I am looking for a school to transfer to instead. They make this school sound like it is going to work well with your work life or family life but in reality they don't. You are better off going to another school. I have had issues with professors marking me absent while I was in class, failing to put my homework in the grade book and claiming I was not there nor turned in said assignments. The Dean takes sides with the instructors more so than the students just because "Nobody has had a problem with our instructors! Only you!" and makes you feel like you can't accomplish or pass the class. No support for students, at all. It's expensive/ If I am paying way more than another campus, my teachers should be phenomenal, the school should care and HELP YOU SUCCEED. Not sit back and watch you fail with a smile on their face... Not all instructors and staff are bad though, there are some instructors who will help you pass the class even if they have to drag you over the finish line. Some people on the staff are pretty excellent as well."

"don't go, go somewhere else. this school rips you off, charges way more than other schools do does not care if you succeed or not. just wants your money. they even change your grades just so you have to retake the class so you have to pay more money to them they are crooks"
