"If you get financial aid, look elsewhere. They will take your money and not give you what they owe you back. Only person worth anything there is Dr. Nesbitt. She cares about your future. The others do not care about your future as a college should. Not worth the hassle to go to school here."

"Kentucky State University offers small class sizes that allows for every question to be answered. However there was problems within the organizational structure of management. Teachers seemed over worked and transcended a low morale. The course work is at times challenging but easily obtainable with good work ethic and organization."

"The other students in my program were very supportive of each other, and I appreciated that sense of community. The faculty, for the most part, were also supportive. There's a strong emphasis on research and attending professional conferences."

"Financial aid is lacking as far as timeliness of dispersing funds. The university's graduate programs selection is limited. There are not enough options for graduate courses i.e. online, weekends, etc are not offered."
