"I decided to join the Communication program at King University with a slightly hesitant attitude. I wondered if it would really help me in my career. I am now preparing to walk away with a more concrete career path, understanding of my passions and a refined skillset. The Communication professors at King were attentive to every message I sent and were intentional in helping me apply my course work to my career. Dr. Sloan, the program director holds the tension well of being gracious, kind and supportive while at the same time challenging students to strive for academic excellence in all that they do. I am now working for a non-profit as a social media manager and marketing team member as a direct result of my time at King. The Communication program at King University exceeded my expectations."

"During my time at King University, I decided to pursue a bachelor’s degree in communication at the Knoxville campus because of their adult leaner’s program. I attended class one night a week which allowed me to better balance my full-time job and school. During my time in school, many major events took place in my life such as getting married, having a baby, buying a house, and more. I definitely needed a university that allowed for my busy schedule. I also needed a place that was affordable. King’s adult learner program is a fraction of the costs of typical private university tuition. During my time at King University, I experienced great academics and professors who led me through the communication program. Overall, I had a great experience at King University and would definitely recommend their Knoxville campus to anyone who is seeking a school that offers a flexible schedule, affordable tuition, and high-quality academic programs."

"I decided to return to college for the third attempt since High School in 1986. I started looking at online universities on the computer one day and a co-worker informed me of King University where her husband graduated. She advised me that King University is a wonderful university for adults that are working all the time and it has classes online which makes it easier for the adults working schedule. I informed her I would call and get some information regarding the university and if it can work with my schedule online. After I called, I was pleased with the online admissions person as she informed me what I need to do to get my transcripts from the other three colleges in Texas to see what courses would be able to transfer. After King University received my transcripts and all the paperwork was submitted. Once she sent everything to the board to be reviewed so I can be accepted. Throughout the process she kept me informed on the status of my enrollment and when I got accepted to the university, she then set up my classes for the whole degree program till graduation. She advised me, that I would have one class every five weeks till I graduate with my Associate degree. The online admissions person also informed me that every semester my new classes would automatically be set up and all I would have to do is to start my new class. I believe she was a God-sent because I always wanted to get my college degree and she made it so easy to accomplish. At the time, I was working two jobs and didn’t have the time to figure everything out to start college, working two jobs and having two children to take care of not including cleaning the house. I finally completed my Associate’s degree in May 2021 and as I walked across that stage with my three children in the audience clapping and cheering for their mother’s hard work and accomplishment of finally getting her college degree was rewarding and one of the proudest days of my life. After I received my Associate’s degree, I decided that I was not ready to retire, and I wanted more in my life. I decided to return for a second time to King University to continue with my Bachelor’s degree. I again called King University online admissions to see what my options were for my bachelor’s degree. I also called a few other universities in the area such as the University of Tennessee and ETSU to check their online program. Both universities did not have what I was looking for regarding my bachelor’s degree. I decided to continue at King University and major in Business Administration. I realize it will be a little more expensive as I asked about tuition and grants but in the long run, it is best for me and my schedule. I was ready to accept my classes and pay my fees for the semester when at the last minute I received an email from someone about the Communication program. They provided me with the required classes for my degree to review. After reviewing the classes, I decided to switch from Business Administration to Communication because I believe I am a great communicator and I am a people person as well, so I believe this is perfect for me. I have really enjoyed my classes so far and they have taught me several things about communicating with others and especially how to be a better negotiator. My professors are wonderful. They have continued to teach me things on the computer that I have forgotten throughout the years. At my age, I am not looking to climb the corporate ladder or be a CEO in the corporate world, I just wanted to continue my lifetime goal of obtaining my bachelor’s degree."

"My experience attending King's University has been very enlightening and informative. The faculty members are very nice and helpful, when I am in need of assistance. As a child, growing up, I attended a private school with similar traits as King's University. I have learned from my childhood, I am most comfortable in a smaller classroom setting. Since attending King's University, I have increased my knowledge spiritually as well as academically in the Communications program. The information I received by the instructor's teachings have benefited me through my learned communication skills. I am truly blessed to be able to attend King's with people whom are supportive and encouraging. I have put to use valuable assets for real time experiences, and to help me along my journey in life. I recommend King's University to anyone that is looking for a good spiritual based academic education."

"After completing the Bachelor of Science in Communication degree, my eyes are open to the possibilities of being able to examine the world critically. The program has taught me useful skills that I apply to my work and life with every new week. Choosing King University was the best fit for me because the class schedule allowed me to work a full-time job and focus my concentration on one class at a time. King’s block schedule system allowed me to attend one five-week course at a time that meets once a week. With classes meeting during the summer, I have been able to get on the fast-track to graduate within just 12 months. I attended the extended campus on Harden Valley Road. The class sizes consisted about thirty students or less, but I enjoyed having a smaller class because I was able to make connections with my classmates like I never have before. Every professor was exceptional at their job and took the time to encourage student to express their ideas during class. It was never a boring class experience because the teachers were passionate about what was being taught; the communication major is very misunderstood. It is hard to understand how the tuition rate is so affordable to attend this school with how great the professors are. It is comforting to know that I am not going to be in student debt for the remainder of my life, and I still got a credible education. King University’s transferring program made it easy to be accepted. The University accepts almost all transferable credits, so I did not have to worry about re-taking classes. Joining the Communication Program at King University was the best fit for me academically and financially, and I recommend this school to all my friends searching for colleges."

"When I started at King University, I struggled with a lot of mental health issues. I knew what I wanted to do i.e. learn more about Communication, but I physically and emotionally could not bring myself to do the work - and I was already 2 weeks into class. I continued to struggle and struggle until my grades paid the price. I eventually took time away from school to reconnect with my passions in life. In the fall of 2019, I began my studies again with the determination to absorb all the information I could. From the marketing and media communication to the ethical foreground that allows people to communicate effectively, I wanted to learn it all. With the help of the staff at King University, I was able to reapply, start right back where I started, and now I am graduating in 50 days. I will always cherish this experience in my life, because I am able to utilize every teaching in my everyday life. From work to home, I am going to productively use my Communication Degree. Thank you, King University, for believing in me."

"As an older adult student at 52, The Comm. program at Kings University has been a wonderful experience for me. The Professors are top-notch, Dr. Sloan stepped up with me by helping me get the APA style down by meeting one-on-one to show me where I was making my mistakes. Dr. Cassie Ray is tuff but she will always help even at 2 in the morning by answering an e-mail from a student, "yes She actually did." And Professor Joshua Cunningham is a quirky professor with a unique teaching style and if you have the opportunity to take his class you will grasp his teaching style and have a great time learning from him. I would recommend anyone to take the time and explore the communications program at King's University and meet with Dr. Sloan and find out more about the program."

"So far I have enjoyed my time and academic studies at King University. I am currently in COMM4100, or about halfway through to earning my Bachelor’s in Communications, and so far I have loved everything from learning about ethical theories to exploring all the opportunities a Communications major can bestow. I recommend this program for those who enjoy business, but would like to avoid the mathematical side of things."

"Within the next few months, I will be a proud graduate with a BS in Communication from King University. Today, I would like to share my experience as a student at King University and some essential facts about the Communication program offered here: 1. This program is well-paced, with 12 major COMM courses, which I assure are some of the most critical and knowledgeable courses in the communication field. Each course consists of five weeks, with four class hours per week. 2. This program touches interpersonal communication, ethics in communication, visual rhetoric, mass media communication, public relations, and public speaking. These are just a few of the exciting 12 courses taught during this program. 3. The instruction material is valuable, and the articulative skills of the instructors are unmatched. Not only do they both give knowledge about the subject matter, but also and perhaps more importantly, provide pathways on how to apply this knowledge. There is much healthy discussion involved within the classroom, and the best part is that the instructor gives everyone a respectful and equal chance to participate. After doing this course, we find ourselves equipped with the working skills required in any professional field. If we want to work in social media, advertising, journalism, public relations, professional speaking, this program gives us the knowledge and the tools. This program has given me so much confidence not only because the content taught is precise but also because the opportunities to apply the content are broad. This course opens a variety of opportunities ahead. Thus, I recommend the students looking for professional career development join this program and make the most of their time and money."

"When I began looking for a school to complete my degree, I had no idea what I wanted to do. I ultimate went to the internet to find my answer. I searched the web for affordable, online schools that provided a good, flexible schedule since I was a full-time worker. I came across King University. Not only was the school accredited, it was in my budget and gave me a great degree I could use for just about any career path: Communications! I was so excited for my journey to start. I was ready to start school and plan for a future with my Bachelor of Communications. I finally started my online bachelor’s degree program at King University in 2017.Unfortunately at the time, I was struggling in my personal life, which ultimately led to me falling behind in my coursework. I would love to say I had an easy time getting myself back to good standing in school, but it was hard. I truly don’t think I would have made it to my final semesters of college without the wonderful teachers and administrators along the way. They encouraged me, raised me up, and helped me succeed again. I know I wouldn’t have had the same experience at any other school, which is why I am adamant about sharing my story. Little did I know that I all I needed to motivate myself was the inspirational, compassionate prayers and wisdom of King University. Now, I am one semester away from my degree and I couldn’t be any happier."

"My time at King University has been difficult, but very manageable. I once heard a friend say that her friends do not like King for various reasons. With that input in mind, I took a chance with King University. As part of my first semester at King, I am currently enrolled in an online B.S. in Communications program. It is great for any student looking into a Communications-based career. It gives me the freedom to work a job five days a week and still manage my classes. I will admit, in one of my classes (the four-month long class), I have neglected somewhat, and I have paid the price. With that said, if you are ready to earn a degree, where you will excel, and have the flexibility to work at your own pace, then this program is for you. My professors have been very kind to move around assignment due dates because of textbook delays due to Covid-19. If you are someone that is okay with typing papers than this program is for you. I love this program because it gives me the sense of taking marketing classes without majoring in business."

"During my time at King University as a Communication major, I have gotten to experience connections with staff and peers like I have never been able to before. The staff want you to succeed and help you in any way that they can. Whether its assignments or being flexible with every day life, the staff at King are masters at working with their students. The 5 week class program is doable and has helped me retain information at higher rates that normal 15 week classes. Each class is focused and the information you receive is directly applicable to daily life and life in your career. I would recommend King University's Communication program for any student looking to succeed not only in their careers but in life."

"My time at King College has been the most rewarding experience to date. Having attended another university before, I could not be more pleased with the education I have received. The COMM professors provided solid content in a thorough and informative manner; their instruction made the material enjoyable to learn! Although the University has religious values and missions, the COMM professors taught and provided content that was diverse and inclusive of all religions and dominations."

"King University can offer more than just a degree. Since attending, King has presented me with many opportunities to learn new skills and refine older ones. When beginning the program, I thought that I was going to be spending the next year and a half relearning old material, but I was very mistaken. The first course I took, Public Relations, impressed me greatly. In the first week, the instructor had taught us how to create a professional Press Release; it was very exciting to learn a skill that was actually relevant to a career path that I've considered pursuing, and PR was just the first course! The instructors that I've had through-out my experience in the COMM program have been extremely helpful. If I emailed any instructor with a question, every single one of them would respond almost immediately. I could not have asked to attend a better school. I've greatly enjoyed my time at King and I firmly believe that taking the COMM course has vastly prepared me for my chosen career path."

"Choosing to attend King University has been one of the best choices I have ever made in my life. King is dedicating towards helping their students go beyond what is required while helping students strive for success. I love that I only have to meet for class once a week and I love how King has dedicated their program towards working adults and parents. Each professor that I have had while attending King have dedicated their selves towards helping me grow my knowledge in communication. The professors at King university are very well trained to help students understand in-depth concepts. While attending King University, I have expanded my knowledge on many different aspects of communication. As a communication major, I have learned so much that will prepare me for my future career. I have learned so much over the past year at King and I would highly recommend anyone who is looking to expand their knowledge."

"King University’s Communication program is a unique, hybrid program, only requiring one (four hour) on campus class a week. All other assignments are done online. The flexibility of the Communication program is perfect for nontraditional students like myself. Flexibility was a top priority when searching for a bachelor’s program. Core classes in King’s Communication program run for five weeks and there are three core classes per semester. King also offers several electives that can be taken over a fifteen or five week time frame per semester. Focusing on one class at a time allows students to solely focus on the subject matter of each class. Classroom sizes are small enabling meaningful and supportive relationships to be built with fellow classmates and professors. I have found that my fellow classmates and professors are eager to help where they are able and always respond in a timely manner. There are a handful of Communication professors that teach multiple classes. Having the same professors for multiple classes helps to build relationships and gives students the opportunity to become accustomed to the professor’s teaching styles. King University is a Christian based college, which at first I thought would be an issue for me. I almost did not apply because of that reason. However, even though it is a Christian based college, religion is not pushed upon students, which was my fear. Do not let King being a Christian based college deter you in any way from taking full advantage of all the wonderful programs King has to offer."

"My experience in King University’s online Communication program has been nothing but positive. When I chose to finish my degree online, I was afraid I would be sacrificing the quality of my education for the flexibility of an online degree. However, through King I was able to get my degree while working full time and never felt like I was missing out on a quality education. Classes are in 5-week terms, which seemed stressful at first, but I came to really enjoy. It allows you to focus completely on one subject at a time and get the most out of each class. The COMM professors are genuinely helpful and seem to care about the success of every student. Every professor I had gave helpful and thorough feedback on assignments that helped me better my work. The courses and topics covered are all practical and relevant to anyone in the workforce. Overall, I recommend King’s Online Communication program to anyone looking for a flexible way to get a great education."

"The online communications program here at King has been a great experience since the start. I was worried at first that online courses may be tricky when it came to communicating back and forth with the professors when I had questions, concerns, etc., but that has not been the case at all. Every professor I have had has been extremely quick to reply and they all seem to genuinely care about how you do in their classes. I would absolutely recommend this degree path to anyone wanting to learn legitimate skills that apply to the real world."
