"My time at Lawrence University is the proudest chapter in my life. Both academically and socially, I was continually challenged and awed by my professors and classmates. We are not only encouraged, but required to explore fields different from our major. For some of my classmates, this opportunity changed their whole focus to a drastically different path. Regardless of where you plan to go, our professor are waiting with all their resources and knowledge to help you over any obstacle that will stand in your path. In my case, the opportunity to explore such a wide range of topics and fields intensified my passion for my area- biology and anthropology. With the support of my peers and connections of my professors, I was able to travel the world to pursue my interests. In four short years, I finished both a major in Biology and a minor in Anthropology. I completed a senior capstone and took courses in 11 different fields. I gained lifelong friends (as well as the love of my life) and made memories to last forever. With the support of my peers and professors I accomplished more academically than I had ever pictured myself doing. Lawrentians push boundaries whether it is in academics, athletics, music, or in regards to social norms and expectations. Rarely will you find a more active, passionate community. Lawrentians truly do defy definition."

"The phrase "learning how to learn" may sound corny in print... but it's not in practice. I have found my liberal arts education from Lawrence to be incredibly valuable as I navigated my early career in software technology. Lawrence taught me to respond to any challenge with ease and a thirst to learn as much as possible as quickly as possible."
