"Liberty University offers an amazing online program for all disciplines. I originally started in the Psychology program and then transferred to the Christian Counseling degree program. Every textbook for those classes are books that I will keep forever. Each instructor is easily accessible via email or Blackboard. I love that you can call Academic Advising all hours of the day and get a live voice. Graduation was fantastic and so memorable. #LUGrad"

"Liberty University is a school that offers it all! All dorm life and academics are founded on Christian morals. The teaching staff genuinely cares about their students and want to see them succeed in the spiritual life as well as their chosen vocation. The campus is full of activities and there is something for everyone. You will never be bored."

"Liberty university is unique in many ways. However the way in which their uniqueness most effected me was their teaching staff. All of the professors at Liberty are required to have a certain number of years experience actually practicing the subject they teach. All of my professors were ex-military or ex-police officers, ex-lawyers, ex-FBI, or otherwise experts in their fields. The professors do not just have book knowledge. I know when I was listening to a lecture I wasn't just listening to something out of a book. I was listening to something out of a life. That made learning so much better. There are many good qualities Liberty has, but this I believe is one of the most influential."

"Liberty was such a fun place to go to school. It's easy to make a lot of friends, there's always a lot of fun things going on and activities to do, events to attend, etc. There are however, a lot of rules, including a strict room check and dress code. I didn't like having a curfew as an adult, and not having any freedom/privacy. If I had lived off campus I think I would have liked it better."

"As I read the long negative reviews on LU, I am lead to assume that the poor experiences people may have had there were results of unproductive habits and poor decision making of the students leaving poor reviews. I am a senior Engineering student and LU has provided an incredible opportunity for me to learn theory and skills in my field, and I had an engineering position lined up a month before graduation. With that said, success is 100% dependent on students' effort and work ethic. LU simply provides the opportunity. Financially, LU provides enough scholarships for me that the total cost was comparable to going to a state school. If you are willing to grow up, work hard, take responsibility for your actions, and take ownership of your career path, then I believe you will have a positive experience at Liberty University."

"Okay, first off, the school doesn't even offer up-to-date materials for their classes. The lack of leadership in the online community is mind boggling. I just took a Business Law class that I completed in my Bachelor's degree. It was pointless. I passed the class with a B- and get this, I didn't even have the book. Oh and because I have a B-, I am on academic probation which is ridiculous because the grade is still a B. I dropped a class for the Spring term and they sent funding back to my loan servicer which in turn caused a 5,000$ balance on my account. However, I was still enrolled in 6 credits for the term and any other school would have just taken back the money for the one class. They really are all about the money. Also, don't look at this school if you plan on living off campus and having help with living expenses. They put off campus students in what's called tier 2 housing which means less aid to help you. Also, their books are twice as much than most schools and some schools you don't even have to pay for books. I'm going back to UMUC where teachers are actually involved and will respond to your questions within 24-48 hours."

"My degree is junk. No one will hire me because no one thinks this is a real university. I have a good GPA and passed all my tests - I can demonstrate what I learned but I CANNOT GET AN INTERVIEW to do it. I should have known something was not rights with this place...all this money and time for nothing. Please go to a real school."

"I recently graduated from Liberty university with a masters degree in Human services. I did learn a lot of great information during my time at the University. The downside however was that you are given a ton of work with very little help from the Instructors. Basically you teach yourself the material. The instructors just grade papers and post a few motivational scriptures or comments each week. The reading assignments are ridiculous for working students. You can expect to have had as many as 4 or 5 books to read, 10-15 or more videos(at least an hour in length), outside reading materials, discussion board post, at least 1-2, ten to fifteen page papers, and weekly or biweekly exams for each class. Its a lot to grasp in a short time frame while working a full time job, and care for your family. Somehow by the grace of God I managed to do it all. I think the school is a good school they just need to reevaluate how much course material they expect students to complete in a few weeks."

"Excellent school with ample resources, cutting-edge technology, and a caring faculty to aide in my educational success. The professors pray for and encourage their students throughout each course. If they only offered a MAT program with single subject credentialing education here in California, I would continue with Liberty. I highly recommend Liberty!"

"I earned an undergrad and a Master's Degree at Liberty University. The experience and challenge could not have been more beneficial. I am now pursuing a PhD at a different university, but will always appreciate Liberty. They offer excellent tuition discounts to military and public service personnel. Go Flames!"

"LU is a wonderful school and was a perfect fit for what I needed at that stage in my life. The nursing program is very difficult and takes a lot of work but it is well worth it in the end. The professors are amazing; they are so helpful and willing to work with you to make sure you understand the material and do their best to help you succeed. LU is also great about providing many opportunities for activities at all hours that is conducive to all schedules. There is also a wonderful team of student leaders who support your spiritual journey and help you grow in Christ."

"My overall experience wad one of disappointment and frustration with LU. They claim to be a Christ-focused school yet their business practices reveal that they are no different than secular schools and in many cases even less caring. My experience as a whole proved them to be much more dollar focused than Christ focused. I attended the online Seminary program the upon earning my BS and not once even throughout my BS did anyone from advising ever contact me. After I requested my transcripts be sent elsewhere suddenly advisors began calling every day. I had been a student for over four years. That was the last straw after countless other policies and experiences had led me to request them in the first place."

"Liberty University is an amazing school. Although it is large, they make you feel at home. The professors care, there is so much to do there and the quality of the programs is great. I had the best experience at Liberty and they encouraged me to get my Master's. Thanks to them I gained invaluable experience I could not get anywhere else."
