"You must have a great support system. Family/friends/etc. must realize you have to study every waking hour and that in order to study you must be left alone. Become OCD with your studying. Nursing school is very, very hard. You don't have to study in groups, but if you do study in small groups. Don't work, if possible, while in nursing school. Use the library, there are excellent resources such as nursing mnemonics and pictures. If you can work in the library or front desk to get a tuition discount. Be nice and share. If you know information, or have notes that can help out fellow classmates then help them. We all need help. Nurses help people, so start with your fellow classmates. Don't be stingy. If possible try to befriend someone who is a class ahead of you in the nursing program. Their notes and knowledge is priceless."
