"Lyon college is not for the faint of heart. It is kind of fast paced. You have to study if you want good grades, but overall it is a great place to go to school. All of the teachers are helpful, the campus is beautiful, and everyone wants to make sure you succeed in whatever it is you choose to major in. No one looks down on any career, they are all seen as equals."

"Be prepared to take on some student loan debt. This private college is not extraordinarily generous with their scholarships. While I was attending, their four-year graduation rate was plummeting because students would attend a year or two, realize they'd graduate $100,000 in debt, and then transfer to a less expensive college. You WILL need a vehicle while attending this campus. This is a small town without public transportation and without sidewalks on most streets."

"Pros: I've gotten every job I've ever applied for, because the Lyon name has some degree of prestige locally. The campus is beautiful and has many ammenities. Cons: Their graduation rate was plummeting while I was enrolled--students would attend their first two years, realize they'd graduate $100,000 in debt (assuming no/few scholarships), and then transfer out to a cheaper school. The campus is located in a very small, rural town. The nearest mall is at least an hour and a half drive away. I would advise any student who attends Lyon to have access to a car, as there are no sidewalks throughout most of the town, and no taxi services."
