"What I think is great about Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine- Illinois is that it is a newer school. They have faculty that are eager to engage the students in dentistry and the technology to aid their learning. The only con is that tuition is very expensive. Once I graduate I will be approximately 400K in debt."

"Pros-A very open minded school. Willing to work with students and be progressive in their educational process. Students and faculty work together to guide their education. Cons-The cost of the school is quite large and creates lots of stress. In addition, it is a new program and although it is well put together by experienced individuals in dental education it has a few "kinks" that will be worked out in the coming years."

"Small, safe campus compared to my undergrad program. Easy to get to know people and professors are easily available to talk to you. It is a quarter system so if you're used to the semester system you have to really step up your work ethic but all in all they really want you to succeed! Plenty of campus organizations to get involved in and as long as you put the work in, it can be one of the best experiences you've had."

"I picked Midwestern University because of their Physician Assistant program. I had been selected from 2 schools (the other being Rosalind Franklin University) but picked Midwestern over RFU for many reasons. MWU is in a nice location and I feel completely safe there. It is located on 105 acres and all of the buildings are new or being renovated. The facilities are state of the art and the staff are highly educated. There's so much that I really like about the school. Additionally, most of the medical professionals in my life have graduated from Midwestern University. It is well-known and highly recognized as one of the best physician assistant programs in the country. The only con would be that the tuition is slightly more expensive than some of the other schools, but mostly competitive overall."

"I think Midwestern is a great school and will give me a great education, but the cost is high and there aren't many option for financial help through the school."

"I feel that the tuition is too expensive. It's an overall nice campus with some new buildings, but the tuition fees are just too high. I don't live on campus, but I heard that living in a dorm is also very expensive. Most students rent an apartment close to school because it's much cheaper. This school offers several different programs including medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, and others. It also has many research opportunities if you're interested in that field of study. It is located close to Chicago, so there are fun places to visit."

"Midwestern is a well-oiled machine. There are several different medical programs available, and the administrative process has worked out all the kinks when it comes to applying for admission. Once on campus, the experience is similar. Professors are knowledgeable and passionate about their subject matter. There is a lot of support available for academic matters and otherwise."
