"As a Veteran, one of the biggest mistakes I have made was choosing to use my VA benefits at North Idaho College. This school is great if you want to hear every instructor openly criticize their job, you want temporary advisors that do not know your degree requirements, and you want to generally be lied to, let down, and have problems with student accounts while they misappropriate tuition funds, and continually lie. If you want to learn, better yourself and your education than please go somewhere else. NIC is a horrible place that is out for your money and will "teach" that college students expecting a better job after earning a degree are "THE" problem. This school sucks hard."

"Graduating from North Idaho College is such a milestone. Not because of a degree. It is because of the things I’ve learned; learned about myself (how far I can be stretched and what I am capable of), learned about others, learned about government, learned about music, and learned about the purpose of a community college. My heart grows heavy to leave a legacy, some gratitude to the many people that have helped shaped me and mold me into the great man I am becoming. I feel in some ways at a priceless debt. I can never repay. I could not possibly begin to. So I just accept the great things that have impacted my life the past three years and continue on this amazing adventure and exciting journey called “life.” The Music department is full of so many wonderful faculty who definately want their students to suceed. I don't feel sad because I have gained as much as I could possibly receive from this institution, instead I feel like I am closing one door of my life"
