"I graduated then found out this school was not valid in my state. I ended up throwing $2,000 down the drain. They say you can choose two companies to work for, but they don’t actually have a working program for that. I found a job on my own at a Walgreens who didn't help me obtain my license and made me do their 4 class short program again. I’m not sure why, if they have their own programs to get you certified on the job, you would ever need to use this school."

"So let me just start off by saying this is not your traditional institution. This place is self-serve. You do the work yourself and if you want positive results your going to have to work it out yourself. The staff here do not help you. In the program that I was in you are graded by the computer. No teacher. No homework. Nada. You learn on your own. There is no guaranteed career help and job placement. Theyre just telling you lies to get you to pay. This was money wasted that I couldve used towards my actual college tuition. But, oh well. You live. You learn. Just dont make the same mistake. Really do your research before you make a decision wherever you decide to go."

"Penn Foster is the biggest waste of time and money. I completed all of the lessons before the deadline of my program but they are horrible at working with the externship. I was hired on by Walmart pharmacy, I've been there for over a year working as a pharmacy technician, but Penn Foster refuses to give me my diploma because 1) I was getting paid to work there and 2) because it is Walmart. When I called to talk to the supervisor about my experience she talked over me and had a bad attitude as if I was an annoyance to her. I have learned so much from Walmart, they have given me the same knowledge that i'm going to get from any other pharmacy, but Penn Foster will not work with me. I am now out $705 because my experience came from Walmart and not CVS or Walgreens. Even if I were to get hired on by CVS they would still not except it because I would be getting paid. They will not let me graduate unless I work so many hours unpaid at one of their chosen pharmacies. Long story short, do NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY on these scammers. They do not care that you've been given the experience and education you need from a pharmacy, they just want your money. If I could warn every person even glancing at their programs I would."

"Well, let me start by saying, this is a waste of time. I took the course, I get reimbursed through my work educational fund. Even jumped through the hoops of externship for absolutely NO reason and waste of time. Sent in all the forms at the end. Only to find out they changed the review form the supervising pharmacist is supposed to fill out. Changed the format but the one I sent in was their old format. They would not accept. WELL I am not in the mood to bother that poor pharmacy again. This has essentially held my certificate hostage and I cannot get my money back from work without it. I have also sense taken the PTCB cert without the school and passed. NOT HAPPY. EIther want my MONEY BACK, or my CERTIFICATE or I will say something to the BBB."

"You will be hard pressed to find a school that cares as little about its student as Penn Foster. This is basically a breeding ground for Walgreens and cvs. They offer little in the preparation for real world technology and skills needed for a quality career. If you are looking to make $20000-25000 a year working retail, with garbage benefits and no hope for promotion, then this is your school. If you are looking for quality jobs, find somewhere else to study."

"I recently graduated from the Penn Foster career school pharmacy technician program. Their materials were very spot on and in depth. Aside from the very low cost they also help you find a 120 hour externship with either CVS or Wallgreens, your choice. They have affordable monthly payments which really helped. I would recommend this school and program to anyone. The career school is both nationally and regionally accredited. Check them out."

"Even though Penn Foster is cheaper then other school their services are horrible. I graduated in January 2014 it is now March 2014 and I still have not received my needed materials but when it came to taking my money they had no problems. The workers keep giving you the run around putting you on hold for hours. I requested my materials 3 times and they found no record of it saying we will send it allow more time and here I am almost 3 months later still waiting for my stuff so I can work."
