"Do. Not. Enroll. Here!!! I'm trying to get out! I know people who teach here. They just fired their entire education team of teachers! When you call you will no longer get a teacher! They have people called Advocates talking to students now. These people have HS diplomas or GEDS!!! THERE ARE NO MORE REAL TEACHERS AT THIS SCHOOL! If you go there get out! Go somewhere else! "Hi I am a current PFC student. I absolutely love the school. The online platform is unexcelled and the student support staff is really helpful. I really appreciate the lost cost but high educational value PFC offers.This school isnt easy. You have to be a self motivated person in order to do well at PFC. You take one class at a time but if you study hard you can easily finish a class in less than a month. So theres a very good chance you will finish your degree sooner than you could possibly imagine. PFC gets a lot of hate and I believe that 99% of it comes from people who are not suited to take online classes. Penn Foster College is a wonderful school.Read Less"

"I am attending Penn Foster have had no issues with billing. I pay each semester up front and receive all of my learning materials on time. I was skeptical at first but wow I was surprised with all that you will learn in the bachelor's degree program in business management."

"I cannot speak for everyone but I can speak for myself. I have a job in management in manufacturing so it does not really matter what school I attend as long as it is accredited by the US Dept. of Education which Penn Foster College is listed as DEAC, now if you want to transfer either go to the school that partners up with PFC or go to a regionally accredited school. My BS in Business management is just a check mark for requirements when getting a job. I did not feel the material at this school were easy at all. All the final exams were proctored and challenging. I had to put in a lot of work to get my degree. All my instructors returned my phone calls and emails in a timely manner. Customer service was excellent as well. I never had an issue with the payment since I always paid each semester in full and got a discount for it. Just make sure you really read the fine print and ask questions before enrolling, make sure you really understand what you are signing up for. Do not judge this school as illegitimate. I know people who have went to the top schools in the country and are in debt and can't get a job or make way less than I do. This is the truth. I am debt free because this school is cheap and allowed me time to work and study. Otherwise, I really would not have the time or the money. It doesn't matter what school you attended. What matters in the end is your drive and determination. It depends if you are a winner or not. I believe I won because I got a degree the cheapest way possible and have a good job that pays well.Read Less"

"I see so many bad reviews on here and not a lot of explanation as to why. I think past students did not do their research or really understand what they were getting into when signing up. (payment polices and what not). I am in the Business Management Bachelor's program and I am now on my 4th course with this school. The student portal is extremely user friendly compared with Ashworth College. There is a vast amount of resources and a community website you can join through the school that is extremely helpful. I'm also on a FB page for Penn Foster business students that I find is invaluable as a way to connect with other students. Their coursework is tough and up to date with current trends. This school lives up to other school's. This is not a scam or rip off at all. I am a previous straight A student and I spent HOURS today studying my butt off and passed with an 80%. It's challenging yet rewarding. I can't wait to complete this program and know full well I received a top notch education. Also, anytime I have a question or concern I contact the school and I always hear back right away with extreme mannerism and professionalism.Read Less"

"I think this degree did help me get a higher management role. I had some experience before but the degree I believe helped get me a bigger role. My employer accepts my degree. I went to a traditional school in the past and PFC was just as hard. It is fully accredited and is ace recommended. I highly recommend pfc."

"I started the Vet Tech program with Penn Foster a couple of years ago and didn't make it very far. Mostly because I was working and not motivated. When I decided it was time for me to go back to school, I came back to Penn Foster. I'm now enrolled in the bachelors business management degree. Why did I choose to come back to Penn Foster? It meets my personal needs. Penn Foster is nationally accredited, unlike your local community college or your state university which are most likely regionally accredited. It usually goes like this; regionally accredited school courses will transfer to nationally accredited schools but not all nationally accredited school courses will transfer to regionally accredited schools. Why? Because the regional accreditation requires a strict and rigorous course catalog, among other things. Schools like Penn Foster are usually career schools. The advantage is that they are able to change their courses as the real world changes and this keeps their students current. It would take a considerable amount of time and red tape to change the courses. If they had to go through all of the processes by the time they got approval for the change, there would be new information to add. So with that said, Penn Foster does have some courses that have been evaluated and are recommended for transfer by the ACE College Credit Recommendation Service. So if you plan on trying to transfer to a regionally accredited institution, keep in mind that only certain classes and credits will transfer. Also, If you plan to continue your education like I do, plan carefully. I want to get my masters and maybe even my doctorate someday. Not all Institutions will take my Penn Foster degree. Two more things that I like about this program...The tuition and the delivery system. Oh, and the self pace... sorry, three. Tuition is affordable and all study materials are included. They also have an online tutoring center. They offer affordable payment plans. I pay 60 a month right now, I think the lowest you can go is 49. The delivery system, all courses you can complete online, except. Except except except you may have proctored exams. But honestly that's not too big a deal. Go to your local library, the librarians are usually more than happy to help out. I also hear that in the vet tech program you can now be proctored through your webcam. Online, Affordable, SELF PACED. That's really the thing that gets me. Sometimes I get lazy, I don't want to be bothered with reading 80 pages by friday so I can attend class. I work, like the rest of the real world. I need time to tune out, pretend I don't exist. Then there are weeks where all I want to do is sit down and knock out three lessons. Those are things I can do with self paced courses. So, if you are considering Penn Foster make sure it meets your needs. As for faculty and staff, I've had nothing but good experiences with them so far. My questions are answered in a timely manner and they are always kind. But remember, they people not machines. people make mistakes, people get frustrated, people have bad days. No matter if its an online school, on campus, nationally or regionally accredited. They are trying to take care of a lot of people and if you can express your problems in a polite way they are going to try and help you. In conclusion you need to find out if Penn Foster meets your educational needs... It is your education, your life. Make an informed choice.Read Less"

"I love this school! Penn foster gives me the ability to work and study at my own pace. It is a fully accredited school. I had no trouble when I needed to extend my time. I am getting a quality education. They do not give any slack because you are doing it online. At this point I am fully satisfied that I am getting a quality education, fully accredited, and for a fraction of the cost I paid at Indiana Wesleyan University for my first degree. This one will be paid before I am finished and my employer has reimbursed my tuition. I could not be happier. They even gave fair or better on credits for classes from my previous degree.
