This program is paving the way in medical education and designing an innovating curriculum focused on earlier time in hospitals with patients and less time in a lecture hall. Further what is unique about PSCOM is that it prioritizes a humanities education amidst in medical physiology curriculum. In this light, it understands the importance that doctors do not only need to know science but need to understand human interactions and empathy.
