"Hillsdale College is a liberal arts school that has stayed true to its original, interdisciplinary ideals. While a student at Hillsdale, I was pushed to pursue knowledge for its own sake and appreciate the beauty and connections between fields of study. Though a firm fixture in the science department, I minor in English and took many classes that pushed not only what I thought, but why I thought that way in the first place. Diversity of students may not be a strength, but diversity and rigor of thought is ever-present at this institution."
