"You will be extremely busy. Expect to put in all of your time. Due to the small class size (around 115) you will get to know everyone fairly well. This is one of the things that sets apart the Rice program. In Texas this MBA will impress people. In other parts of the country (Michigan or North Carolina for example) you might have to tell people that Rice University is not a grain and farming school. The total price tag is around 110k, however the financial aid is usually pretty decent. The quality of education is hard to gauge against other business programs (I have only gone to B-grad school at Rice, so how could I compare?). That said I have learned an emended amount during my first year. The quality of your classmates is impressive. You have people from all sorts of backgrounds and geographical areas. And they are mostly very intelligent. On the whole I recommend the program."

"Rice MBAP is a hectic but great program to be in for working professionals. There is a good mix of peer students from different backgrounds. The Rice Alumni network is awesome and provided a great deal of advice and useful connections."

"Rice University's MBA program is an absolutely fantastic program that gives you the opportunity to excel in almost any industry you want to be a part of. The Jones Graduate School of Business is well known for their Energy, Entrepreneurship, and Health Care programs. Finance and consulting are also very popular at the Jones school. With Rice University being extremely generous with their scholarship offers, this school is by far one of best values of any program in the country."

"I am doing the professional program where I work full time. The professional program is considered a full-time program as we have the same cirriculum and credit hours as the full-time MBA students."

"My Rice classmates are smart, hard working, and committed and a team environment was quickly created in our classrooms. The professors will challenge you academically while providing as much support and feedback as you desire. The Rice network is supportive and alumni have always replied back to me with advice when I have reached out. Opportunities for clubs, social events, and networking abound."

"The MBA program at Rice is rigorous, but well worth it. You are truly getting a world-class education here. I was blown about by the breadth of opportunities outside the classroom here. The career services are close in contact with students and employers to help everyone achieve their professional goals. Additionally, the generosity and strength of the alumni network is a great asset to this program."
