"Richmont Graduate University is a program that not only inspires students towards excellence in everything that they do, but also prepares students for the next steps after their degree. They tell their students that if you are the same person after going through the program then they have failed in doing their job. This is only one example of the way this program propels you towards growth and change not only in your studies but also in who you are as a person. Richmont views the work of counseling as a high calling and therefore conduct every class and student seriously and with respect. Any student who has the opportunity to attend this program should feel honored and be expectant for their own personal development and change. It is a rigorous program with high expectations academically to prepare you for your career as a counselor."

"The pros of my program are definitely the quality of education, training, and our reputation throughout the city. Learning about effective counseling and actually practicing effective counseling are two different things. Putting theory into practice can bring with it a great deal of anxiety. Wanting to take care of the client and be the best support for them is your main concern. At Richmont, we get a significant amount of real life training. That, paired with the education and support of the faculty, makes going into practicing therapy smoother. As students, we are able to be confident in the services we provide. A con of the program is the amount of time it can take to complete it. Certain classes are only offered during certain semesters. So, if you are unable to get into a class, you have to wait a year to take it."

"I throughly enjoy Richmont Graduate University because it provides a community atmosphere. Everyone is there to help you become a counselor, both faculty and students. There is no competition against the students and everyone shares information and is open to help. The faculty goes above and beyond to help all students. It is very difficult to think about the cons at the university because I truly enjoy studying here."

"Richmont Graduate University is a phenomenal school! I originally began attending Richmont almost ten years ago but had to put my studies on hold for several years. During those intervening years I considered other schools but none matched up to the quality of Richmont. Its strength is in its staff and faculty. Everyone I've encountered at Richmont has been deeply committed to providing the best education and educational experience for Richmont's students. There is a small student to teacher ratio and the professors take an interest in each student."

"I absolutely love Richmont Graduate University. The staff is friendly and accessible to the students. There is definitely a sense of community and support in the graduate school. The workload is challenging but achievable to complete. I am only in my first year of three years of graduate school and I feel I have learned a great deal. I know I will be prepared to counsel effectively due to this program."
