"Overall, my experience was useful and encouraged me to pursue higher education. I found four mentors that were able to give me the tools I needed to apply to graduate school and have the confidence in being able to contribute to the psychology field. I think the school could be more diverse and advocate for diversity and inclusion of minority students, not just by an organization but as a whole. I also think that there should be stricter policies in place to be able to fund programs like the language department. My time at Rider I was able to focus on my studies and I appreciated the hours in which I was able to go to the study lab. I was also appreciative of the late hours that the dining hall was opened, as well as the security within the campus. Two of my psychology professor really made a difference in my career and enabled me to continue researching what I was interested in the military population. I also enjoyed being close to two major cities, NYC and Philadelphia as well as two known townships, Princeton and Trenton. Being a part of the middle of those communities made me realized the privilege I had to be able to pursue a higher education degree and go on to my doctorate. Rider provided me with opportunities to grow and expand my knowledge as well as professors and faculty that really wanted me to succeed. I cherish my time there and hope that the incoming student does as well."

"Rider University is a smaller school with so many opportunities for educational as well as character growth. In my four years here as an undergraduate I felt like I really was able to make a difference. I joined a diverse amount of clubs and organizations and was able to become a leader in many of those organizations. I built my resume through many different on and off campus, Rider affiliated positions such as R.A., conference services leader and study tours counselor. The study abroad program and career support also helped me expand my experience past a resume and into a full character development. The small class sizes and intimate classroom setting helped me connect with my professors and utilize the resources they had to offer. I was able to obtain a position right after graduation and am currently back at Rider pursuing a master's program because I have such confidence in the education and resources they provided for me."

"The best experience and investment, was going to Rider University. I was a bit nervous and unsure as to how I would succeed, but I am so glad I stuck it out, it opened up so many doors of opportunity and network and it pushed me to want to do better."

"I completed my undergraduate degree at Rider and came back for graduate school because of how much I enjoyed this school. The university is warm and welcoming staff keeps me coming back. The price of the education is high, but I will continue to be in debt because the staff is fabulous."
