"Rollins is a community of people dedicated to the learning process. Students are encouraged to participate and go beyond their limits in the classroom via Socratic sessions and active teacher-student engagement activities. There's never a dull moment. Contrary opinions are welcomed and questions are always taken advantage of as an opportunity to expound upon course content outside of traditional class materials. Foreign language learning is highly encouraged. There are plenty of opportunities to study abroad and I highly recommend students take advantage of them. If you want to slack off then Rollins isn't the place for you. Classes are small and your professor is going to know your name. Do the work and you will be justly rewarded with discussions you will end up enjoying so much they will accompany you outside the classroom when the class is over. The food is incredibly delicious and the fake chipotle is better than the real thing.The library has four floors and an excellent selection of international films. Youll be in the heart of Winter Parks Park Avenue but dont let the temptation of all of the delicious restaurants in your vicinity overcome you! The campus is small so everything is within reasonable walking distance. Parking isnt really that bad as long as youve got a parking pass but its pretty much a free for all during pique hours. Parking during the Summer Term is great though. The Cornell Fine Arts Museum is a must see. Get ready to learn about Floridas rich history. The Winter Park Public library is close too just in case you are looking for an even wider selection of study material. Overall, youll come out of Rollins really understanding what it means to be a global citizen."

"I really enjoyed my time at Rollins College. I was blessed with getting a lot of assistance with everything While I was there including financial aid. The school has much to offer its students including a beautiful campus, caring faculty, a wonderful cafeteria and an area with lots to do. The classes are tough however that helps you to become a better student. I have no regrets about attending."

"I absolutely loved Rollins College. The town was beautiful and the campus was breath taking. The professors are incredibly helpful and the classes are small so you have a lot of one on one time with your professors. The campus is relatively small and it take about 15 minutes to walk the entire campus."

"Real-world skills are learned here. You feel like a student that matters instead of just a number in a classroom. The campus is simply beautiful. You feel like you're a part of a country club rather than an academic institute. As with any school, your satisfaction and return of investment will depend on the effort that you put in."

"Rollins offers a great overall package. The academics are great and most of the professors really care about you. How many MBA programs know you personally from the first week on? They do! Pros: Knowledge gained Active alumni Great environment Good scholarships Excellent value Stellar reputation Cons: Poor career guidance for full time students Campus security is only concerned about ticketing Fully completed in groups so you better have a good one Overall I'd give the program an A. It focuses its efforts on the most important things and while it has a lot of full time students, historically MBAs were a working personals endeavor so I'll give them grace in ramping up their career guidance. If a student has motivation and taps into the alumni they get all the career support you could ask for and some. Evening moving from Florida, the reputation is known outside of Centtal Florida. That really says something since even most well regarded schools can't boast that. Give it a shot and you won't be dissipointed."

"Academic rigor aside (which varies by degree as Rollins provides exceptional Business, Chemistry, and Bnglish programs but has fewer resources in departments like Computer Science), Rollins College's largest advantage is in networking and relationships. The school emphasizes small class sizes which encourage you to network and build relationships with your classmates and professors, make it easier for professors to understand their students' strengths and weaknesses and provide detailed feedback, and foster public speaking and presentation skills in all types of courses. Part of the frustration that often grows up surrounding these incredible networking opportunities though, is the limited student body and faculty with which to work. While Rollins students there do tend to become very influential contacts, the student population is small enough that only certain groups are truly represented. But even more problematic is the limited faculty which, while likely providing good letters of recommendation, are unlikely to be carry much weight in applying to top-notch graduate programs (though, again, it depends on your field). As a liberal arts school, Rollins encourages its students to explore other majors--which is wonderful--but you, as the student, also need to understand Rollins' limitations. If you switch to Computer Science, you may want to consider transferring schools. However, Rollins does have a lot of resources to offer its students -- particularly internationally. Not only do they provide absolutely amazing study abroad opportunities, their study abroad team is a well oiled machine that will work with each student to make the process of applying, moving, and securing funding for study/internships abroad easy and painless. Studying abroad is actually a central tenet of the Rollins curriculum. Most students study abroad and many do so for even more than one semester. This provides some much needed balance to the learning process since the student body is quite homogenous. Study abroad opportunities (and very high rates of students who study abroad during their academic careers) do help provide some very valuable work and study experiences in other cultures. Rollins also has a lot to offer its students in terms of career or post-graduate counseling. The school has been one of the top producers of Fulbright scholars (a prestigious year-long scholarship to study, teach, or complete research as exchange students) for a number of years, and their Fulbright advisor is very adept and a wonderful support figure."

"This program encourages the growth of students who are seeking to be therapists. It challenges students to think outside the box and prepares them for real world clients. However, this is still an expensive program that does not allow students to work when they are in their third year or their internship year. This makes the program more difficult to complete if you do not have a sufficient amount of financial aid."

"The Rollins College English Department is truly something special. All of the faculty are approachable, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in the continuing education of their students. The department has fantastic programs such as Winter with the Writers, a festival throughout February where authors from all over the world visit, affording students the opportunity to meet and even workshop their own work with them. There is a great variety of classes, ranging from a focus on classic literature to more contemporary, perhaps lesser-known works, with all of these courses fostering social and cultural awareness. Rollins as a whole truly wants all of its students to be global citizens. I'd highly recommend Rollins and the English Major to anyone interested in literature and writing. I have learned so much and am legitimately enjoying my time at Rollins, taking fun, challenging classes, and interacting with amazing people everyday."

"The Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Rollins College is rigorous, but very rewarding. The faculty is very invested in their students and bring a high level of clinical and academic experience to the classroom. The pros are the faculty, the beautiful campus, the excellent quality of the education, the evening classes which allow students to work and study at the same time and the emphasis on personal development and social advocacy.The cons are extra-curricular requirements which require additional time outside of class time and additional costs in some cases. Overall, I am incredibly satisfied with my graduate program and highly recommend it for anyone looking for a more integrated and holistic experience."

"Pros: Even though Crummer is a business school, the entire cohort is supportive of everyone's individual goals and helping each other achieve them. The program is expensive, but the school has a good system for applying for aid. Extracurricular opportunities to enhance a resume and a career are very well developed. Professors have real experience with their classes. Cons: The Academic load within the classes are not as heavy as anticipated, and really not as heavy as one would expect from a graduate school. Since the school is small, depending on how busy the staff is at that current moment, getting personal questions answered can be time-intensive."

"The Crummer Graduate School of Business offers fantastic experience in and out of the classroom. The faculty and staff are always supportive. Crummer offers plenty of networking opportunities year round and ways to prepare for the workforce following graduation."

"My experience in the Education Graduate Program at the Hamilton Holt School of Rollins College was a very positive and valuable experience. Every one of my instructors was knowledgeable, had practical experience in the field, and was available to talk with, interact with, and willing to work with students in any way they could to ensure our academic success. Having been to a community college and having tried out a state university I cannot express how much of a difference in the quality of education there was between previous years and my time at Rollins. The smaller class sizes allowed an interactive discourse that really augmented our coursework. It's a beautiful campus and it has great resources and technological support. I have honestly recommended the school to anyone I've talked with who was considering furthering their education. It really and truly was worth every penny. The only downside some might consider (not me personally) is that there are two levels to Rollins. The day side and the night side. The cost for a day side student is much higher which can be considered a negative, but day students also live on campus full-time and eat on campus through the meal program. A student of Rollins Hamilton Holt (evening program classes only) still has access to the same teachers and resources on campus as the day side, but they cannot live in on-campus housing and they do not have access to the meal program. So if you are looking to live on campus and experience the college life 24/7 the evening graduate program through Hamilton Holt won't be for you. You'll want the day program. However, if you are a working adult already living on you're own and have no need for the on-campus living experience, then the night program through Hamilton Holt is exactly what you'll want."
